Use them. I’m so over this whole woke crap. Of course it’s horrible and reprehensible but are 90% of our clothes and designer stuff not made in sweat shops as it is. Picking and choosing who to cancel to suit someone’s narrative is ridiculous. I feel I’m ready to step up a level and need enablingI have a classic/minimalist style, only wear neutrals, so I’m drawn towards YSL and Chanel rather than more fashion bags.
I do love the padded cassette though!
I’m looking for more investment pieces, so without sounding arrogant, my top budget would be £30k. And I’m also on the lookout for a watch (same budget.)
ETA I know this sounds ridiculous, especially in the current climate!

I saw a video on insta recently where a leather smith deconstructed a Chanel purse and rated it on the craftsmanship, the quality of the hide and basically said it was worth about £100🫠

I love ysl like you say the quality is fab , it’s a brand I’m always drawn too xYeah that’s a lot to spend on something that you may not wear. Incredible for a Christmas party or winter wedding though 🤍 I’m amazed at what’s on Maxx these days, hidden in all the shit are some gems. I found a past season silk Hayley Menzies dress on there last year - just one left, in my size for something like £100. I’d given up hope of finding one in stock anywhere and there it was. I mean, it was one of the best days of my life!
YSL is great quality isn’t it? I have an East West tote and a couple of pairs of Nu Pieds and they have all worn beautifully. Super cute bag

Ohhh noooo, don't sell the boxes and carry bags. It's how people get duped into buying fake bags because the seller puts a fake bag in a genuine box and carrier, it happened to someone I know and she was devastated but also confused how the box and bag were genuine but the handbag wasn't.Yeah it's a decent little earnerI could get a few quid for my cartier ring box etc but...they're so pretty lol and IF I ever decide to sell the ring then be worth more with the box. I'm keeping my little LV bag/box my coin purse came in too lol but one day...who knows

i dont think classic chanel is worth it, especially after they double the price these 3 years.Do you guys think Chanel is still worth buying? (In your opinion). size is almost as medium flap. the interior (incl zip pocket) has pressed diamond pattern.

I remember getting my first designer sunnies, picked D&G ones in Brown Thomas here in Ireland. The sales assistant flung them into a bag. I said emm sorry is there not a little cleaning cloth or something to accompany them. She turned around to me and said God you already wear glasses I'm sure you have something at home, I was shocked

I have to admit my first experience was awesome.We were in Rome and I went to Chanel and they treated me like I was the queen even though I only bought some sunglasses. The lady wore gloves and then wrapped them up so beautifully.

lol as if we needed more confirmation he’s a total bullshitter here it is. Think about it - you need a HMDI cable, where do you go? Amazon or ebay or maybe check in the tech section of your supermarket or maplin (RIP) etc? No, I am not wearing my balenciaga anymore, not a hope in hell. I only have two pairs of trainers and didn’t wear them much anyway. It’s not even just the photoshoot for me, it’s the other bits ie the legal docs and the barrowman (sp) books. It made me feel sick when I saw it all together.
I know they already have the money etc but their stuff is always logo’d or identifiable and I’m not walking around with something that has their name on.
