I'm gonna pick up the mini pochette accessories at the end of the month (leaving a job from hell and rewarding myself - wish I did it before the price increase ) and deciding between monogram and damier ebene. My most used bag is also damier ebene so is it overkill to have the pochette in DE?!

I'm not a huge fan of monogram for bags, although it does look good on the smaller items. But wondering if I should switch it up a bit so it's not all matchy matchy. Opinions welcome!


That is really cute! Love it that's a shame about the toy lou lou, I've had my eye on that and the lou camera bag for a while but I also feel like the toy would sit kinda weird for some reason!

Id go for the print you like best, otherwise you might find you don’t reach for it.

I'm having the same issues with the nano speedy, it sits so awkwardly on my body and kind of sticks out. I'm thinking to cut off the straps and just use the top handles and if i really wanted to wear it crossbody i'll just use the strap on my mini boite chapeau since it's detachable.

I have! It was absolutely incredible, would definitely recommend it, learned so much interesting stuff and the special merchandise for the exhibition is cute and pretty well priced too. Happy to answer any questions

You can buy a detachable strap from LV, they come in many sizes. The bag sits right above my hip which is what I prefer but I feel like it slightly sticks out and I just want it to sit flat but oh well.

Ladies, I’ve got my first appointment booked at LV in a few weeks. Looking for a bag I can use everyday and suitable for air travel/general travel. I’ve narrowed it down to either Neverfull PM, or Carryall PM.

Which would you go for?

This’ll be my first LV bag (apart from Kirigami Pochette set but they don’t count as they’re not really bags).

Also thinking of getting a 2cm width reversible belt with monogram on one side and black on the other side and gold hardware. Anyone else got this or similar? And if so what do you think of it?

The Carryall is quite new isn't it? I do like that it has feet but the tie straps would probably annoy me. I'm probably biased because it's my most used bag but I'd go for the Neverfull. Obviously it's a classic but they do hold their value well if you wanted to sell it in the future. You can also buy an organiser insert which makes it even more useful.

I have the MM and felt like the PM was very slightly too small to wear on the shoulder. It might be OK for you once you try it on! The PM still holds a lot but I went for the MM because I use it for work, with the PM I'd really be filling it to the brim.

Yeah Carryall is new and I do love that it has feet, also the vachetta is pre-aged and I think perhaps it’s also
treated (so no water marks if it rains?) but I’ll have to double check on that.

Funny you mentioned PM v MM size of the Neverfull. Even that is actually a tough decision, because of size difference and also because there’s only €100 price difference between them.

I spent hours yesterday watching comparison videos with the two sizes of Neverfull and it was mentioned that the PM can’t be worn over the shoulder, so I was planning I would buy an additional shoulder strap…but then, thinking about it then I may as well just get the MM as it’ll be cheaper than PM+strap!

Arrrrrrrrgh I can’t decide! Just as well I have a couple of weeks til the appointment.

Only thing that can go wrong is that I get there and they’re out of stock of whatever I finally decide on.

I’d probably go neverfull. The carryall to me looks like it could date (those style of shoulder bags are everywhere atm) easily whereas the neverfull is a LV classic and been around years. Plus tote styles will likely never go out of style.

I have a similar belt with monogram on one side and fuchsia pink patent on the other. It was a gift from my husband and initially I hated it because I felt it was a bit OTT but now I love it! So go for it

Another vote for the neverfull from me. I have the MM (in damier azur) which is a good size for travelling or for carrying a laptop for work. I think a PM is more of an everyday sized bag but won't be very useful for travelling.

Look at these that were on The Maxx the early hours of this morning! A size too big for me but I would’ve got them in a heartbeat if they werent. They were gone in a flash looks like they’re getting some decent footwear drops.
