new video "huge life update: moving back to my mams house" !!! surely clickbait

edit: yeah clickbait... but its such a weird thing to clickbait ?? says a lot about them that "moving back to my mams" two months after moving in together is actually believable, its not cute doodles x

Just wanted to second that this book is fantastic. I bought it without realising it was vegan/vegetarian but I love the recipes in it. Also cooking a meal from scratch that they both eat would actually be a worthwhile video for doodles to do

Talk about clickbait!

It couldn't be any more obvious that she reads tattle. Everything she "addressed" in that video has been discussed here. She's even changed her background for filming.

Also, she apparently won't advertise for a brand unless she uses the product. What about those Klarna ads? I thought she didn't believe in credit

Jesus! At least put a question mark in your title rather than flat out lie!! Clickbait at its finest

There must be so much wastage! Why does Sean did that massive block of cheese to himself surely he won’t get through half of it? Same with the lasagne? Case of eyes bigger than belly for the pair of em
The lasagne really annoyed me!

I think if they are struggling to make meals from lack of cooking knowledge maybe they should look at hello fresh or gusto both do vegan options and Sean could just add meat

What’s the video actually about? I can’t be arsed to watch
All the usual stuff she’s already discussed really. She’s not moving back to her mums, people are apparently making up rumours about her moving back home on tiktok... She also explains that she knows she’s posted a lot of ads in December and she feels she has annoyed people with them but her audience should just get over it because it’s her job.
She’s getting her tooth removed because it’s cracked and is being put asleep for it. She’s sorry for not posting on her couples channel in December because she’s a lazy bint and didn’t have a schedule ready (god forbid she ever gets a proper job!!) and she’s finding looking after dogs hard
Honestly I’m not sure what the huge life update was supposed to be.

Her videos where she sits and chats to the camera can be dull because she takes forever to get to the point and doesn't get to a point anyway sometimes.

On the not posting on her couples account.

I blog and scheduling content can be time consuming but it's better than posting consistently for 3 days and then nothing for a week because of life stuff. Especially if it's your job!
If she struggles with so many Instagram accounts, perhaps she shouldn't have them.

She repeats things constantly in her videos which is incredibly annoying!

I got a puppy during lockdown, in November. I think you’ve got to be careful not to tar everyone with the same brush. We had always planned to get a second dog, our other is 6 now and has always loved the company of other dogs. We took veterinary advice (I work in animal welfare, so spoke to some of our vets) and researched breeds based on good health and suitability, not because I like how a certain breed looks. We use a doggy daycare once a week, they have a full day there (oldest has gone for years and pup was on half days until this week) where they social with other dogs, and are watched constantly, but this is 100% a good idea.
When it’s been safe and legal I have rented a secure field to socialise pup with friends pup to help them develop. We also take them to a built up area for Walks a couple of times a week so pup meets other dogs/people. (I live very rural)
Not everyone deciding to get a puppy is a total idiot and rehoming waiting to happen.

the things you should be critiquing are;

using dogs for content
Not getting puppies during a pandemic but getting them before they were prepared in the house.
Picking a breed purely for ‘aesthetic’ reasons.
Locking them in a room all day and night alone
Not toilet training
Using a spray bottle on them
Feeding them a terrible diet
Not walking them several times a day like they need
Giving treats when they jump up and rewarding poor behaviour
Not walking and training them separately

the daycare is actually about the only thing she’s done right.

Absolutely agree with you, I put in most scenarios for that reason! I can see you were ready, and you’re already a dog owner too. I’m not against daycare for socialisation, but when it becomes multiple times a week then leading into it being a every single working day scenario is where it gets frustrating for me. I worked at a kennels where we had a Labrador in every single weekday. :’(

I’m friendly with a lot of rescues, and follow a whole host more, who have had so many puppies and young dogs surrendered that were bought in lockdown either to keep kids happy or have something to do. This is where the problem is for me.

I didn’t mean to suggest every person who gets a dog in lockdown is as bad, because you’re certainly not.

absolutely, I think what I was getting at that it isn’t the lockdown period that’s the issue. It’s the asshole getting a dog for irresponsible and stupid reasons.

and yeah I was on the phone to someone I work with at Dogs Trust and the amount they’re seeing already is honestly devastating.And a huge influx of dogs brought in from Europe who’ve already had a shit start being abandoned all over again.
