I've admittedly not been keeping up with this case as there has been so much going on but from what I have heard and watched from legal commentators the judge has been quite anti-defence the whole trial. I need to watch Lawyer Lee's coverage as I think she has the most on the case.
That article is so strange. He confessed 60 times, but there are police\investigators\other specialists prepared to swear it was some other four people.
Oh of course, I think here where I would say RA is “unique” for his height as a smaller man, it would of been interesting to ask the witnesses, of course not concrete evidence but a good indication in their opinion on what they saw that day.

Possibly because eyewitness accounts of something like that tend to be unreliable. Eye witness accounts are unreliable generally, especially after the fact because people can sometimes project stuff.
