I'm not sure if they came up with it but I've seen people say that Abby was posed like the hanged man tarot card which is based on Odin.

I wonder if it was an FBI theory but not sure.

I feel so bad for his poor daughter.

There is speculation that his wife knew it was him or knew something at least, because while on a phone call to her he made a comment to her that insinuated as much.

I find it really interesting that neither the state or the defence has asked ANY witness if they guy they saw that day was Richard Allen.

A crime commentator the other day said they felt this question had not been asked of any witness because the legal team for either side would not ask a question if they did not know how it would be answered.

So if the state had asked a witness if Richard Allen was they guy they saw that day and the witness said no then it's game over for the state.

But if the defence asked the same question and the witness said 'yes Richard Allen is the guy I saw' then it's game over for them too.

I don't think either side has much faith on their argument if I'm totally honest which is why no witness as been asked this question outright.

Is there only a certain amount of times it can be pushed back or can it just keep getting pushed back indefinitely? Have no idea how The US legal system works but it's already been 7 years and it's taking the piss at this point

I've just read that one of the first witnesses has placed a taller man with blonde hair poking out of a mask on the trail at the time - saying they were taller than her. She is 5'7 and RA is only 5'5. Havent looked at today's details yet.

I listen to Pat Brown very often and agree she is very well balanced but she wasn’t in court on this trial . I have followed Lauren, Andrea Burkhart & Vinnie Politan show all seem very convinced of his guilt but I’m concerned others (including Pat Brown) were not convinced there was sufficient evidence so I wanted someone who also attended Court to give another viewpoint, if indeed there is one?

Sorry to bring this thread back up. I just watched the Netflix doc about this.
so he initially presented himself to police to let them know he was in the vicinity at the time and then they got him years later when they rediscovered that fact?
if he hadn’t gone to the police in the first place, would he have just got off entirely?
im so confused!

Honestly, I think it's him and he just got lucky that they didn't pick up on his admission of being there early in the case. I'm also positive they'll have more evidence than what they are sharing

Yeah it will be so interesting to see it laid out by the prosecution. Agree, the way it has been handled, considering the seriousness of the crime is mind blowing.

The defence have been shocking so I wouldn’t be surprised if the judge took a dim view. They let photos get leaked and came up with the odinist crap which was baseless and has now been thrown out.

And? Who cares? That trial isn’t remotely comparable because nobody was brutally murdered.

what’s important is that justice is done by the people selected or qualified to help carry it out - and the waters should not be muddied by the court of social media.

There are lots of trials streamed where brutal murders have happened. I have been interested in this case since day one as I've wanted justice for Abby and Libby and felt it should be a solvable case.

When the police department made so many fuck ups and the judge who is a proponent of cameras in the courtroom wouldn't even allow audio to be released.

i fell down a deep dive on this while back and at the time i didn't think he did it

not up to scratch and didnt watch the trial

i did find it odd that the judge wouldnt allow the defence to bring up the other theories
and that the judge picked his friend to be the defence lawyer
