I watched that reel she shared of the lady just back from holiday (honestly, if you’re going to feel that disgusting after eating on holiday then don’t bother in the first place). And she says she’s now going to be eating clean. Yet not a single FOOD item on that bench. Just packets and powders. No actual food. I really don’t buy into this at all. I’ve said it before on the Gemma Atkinson thread (she’s exactly the same, lives off powdered stuff), unless you’re a professional sports person or athlete, NONE of this is necessary. Just research what you get from food and build your diet from there. That’s not to say we can’t all benefit from the odd supplement, like Vitamin D, and menopausal women may need other things. But the vast majority of us should get what we need from proper food. I got the Tess Daly book and not once is there any mention of protein powders. But there is plenty of information on foods that are healthy, improve gut health etc. If this lady wants gut health, there’s any number of food items she can consume for this. I just do not see that existing on powder is a healthy lifestyle.

I have the mct stuff , collagen and have noticed my skin looks a lot better and it does hold off cravings but it’s not as good as I hoped, I want them to disappear 😂

I got the osteogen detox and have noticed a difference for sure . I have calms but it gives me mental dreams and I will buy the next pack off Amazon for £8 . I don’t know if it’s the healthy eating too ?!

I won’t be buying anything else as I can see you could easily buy it all and be disheartened . She is a very extreme person ( and although open about it ) I do think she needs to think about her audience and maybe get one of her staff to talk about products .

She did a live the other day and said take as much mct oil as you need to get rid of cravings . But it’s expensive , I’d get the sh*ts and it’s calorific I’d actually gain weight and I need to lose .

I’d like some electrolytes for fast days any one have any recommendations ?
MCT - multi chain triglycerides. Dessicated coconut is the same but in its purest form. It's around £2 for a big bag. I just put it into yoghurt or sometimes I put into porridge (according to her this is not good either) with a lump of good quality peanut butter - it's not fattening if you don't have too much in fact it actually boosts your metabolism and is great for heart health and skin and it satiates your appetite. She is basically baffling people with pseudo science and making a huge profit in the process. When I look at her I see a very insecure person obsessed with exercise and appearance - to some extent that is fine but anything that becomes obsessional can be dangerous. All the time she's waxing lyrical about these products she's still talking about real food. She's just found a way to deprive herself of what she wants to eat with willpowder and she's telling everyone about it - making anyone who likes to eat, think they've found a solution to losing weight - great expensive money making exercise for Davinia. Real food will always be better. It should not be about convenience but eating what you want in moderation. The power is in the mind and working on that and developing a healthy relationship with food. Enjoy the broccoli, enjoy the cake if you want it but most of all don't feel bad and certainly don't anyone be guilt ripped by Davinia and her military style of eating. Food is meant to be pleasurable as well as fuelling our bodies properly. She must be quite a bore socially with her outlook. I wonder what happens when her kid goes to parties - I can only imagine..
Apologies everyone, I didn't mean for such a long post but got carried away but it is something I feel passionate about and I think Davinia needs to look at therapy for herself.

Aren’t there brands where you can get good quality direct without a celeb middle woman making a cut ?.

surely all she has done is put her name to products someone else formulated and deal with logistics etc in return for a healthy cut of whatever sells .
---
If what I’m assuming is correct then is quality suffering in order for her to take the £££ cut
If you look at different MCT and collagen products, hers are actually priced really competitively. I don’t understand the dislike of ‘celebrity’ middle woman - this is her life/business now, it’s not like she’s just a bystander. No one moans when someone like Rihanna brings out cosmetics etc 🤷🏽‍♀️

I cannot believe THE Jennifer Aniston is following her on Instagram. I mean Jen Aniston is A list Hollywood and she’s following rent a gob.

Jen scrolling through Instagram whilst sat in her Hollywood mansion and she is seeing posts about Davinia raging in the supermarket about some croissants , shouting at the dogs and having a meltdown about her washing the kids uniforms 😂

Dave Gardner was a snake and a rat. He took Davina to the cleaners. She has turned her life around and fair play to her not living in a huge house which she does not need. She brought supernova heights and lost it in the divorce. Compared to the rest of the primrose hill lot she is down to earth. Unfortunately she has an addictive personality and has replaced booze with health addiction. But better to be obsessing about health than a bottom of a bottle. Not on her fb group as don't do fb but her instagram feeds ppl are pleasant. Manic absolutely she is but mad as a box of frogs. I actually like her

I know this won’t be popular but I think fair play to her having a rant about this. It just goes to show how much she struggles on a day to day basis to stay sober and I for one salut her. She’s mad as a bag of frogs at time but I thankfully don’t have an addition and I know how hard it is to motivate myself to do things some days with nothing wrong so if she believes that taking MCT and exercising and all the other stuff she does helps her stay sober for her husband children and business then fair do’s.

A little humility would go a long way. She could easily say she's aware that her products are at the pricey end, however she's a small business and she can't offer huge discounts at this point but hopefully as the brand grows it would be something she would love to offer. Also all the quality ingredient bullshit blah blah.

Thing with Davinia is, it's her way or the highway. She really doesn't like to be challenged. It's something she needs to work on.

Not everyone can control what they eat so if you think her stuff is shit then that’s your opinion. I love her products. I was a big sugar and gluten eater which caused me years of issues that I finally found only after Davinias excellent support. Her products have helped me carb the cravings, I can enjoy crsp food from time to time without the major hangovers I used to get, no more bloating, skin issues, brain fog and I am now a size 8 from being an inflamed 12 for years. My periods barely hurt, I hardly get breast tenderness or headaches since switching to her biohacking lifestyle. I am in the best state I e ever been as I approach peri menopause and after having kids.

whilst you may not have got on with the products, other might do anyone reading this don’t get disheartened.

Deeply worrying advice from her yesterday on cancer, chemo and radiotherapy. Grounded in poor quality evidence. Advising less meds will help chemo. WTF how can this be applied to everyone without knowing anything about co existing conditions and symptom burden. Also recommending fasting for 5 days pre chemo when many cancer sufferers are already so fatigued and debilitated. Make it make sense.

Her products are BRILLIANT! She’s hugely helped me uunderstand my body better. I look and feel tons better and I’m peri too. Never felt better. Yea ok, she’s a bit cray cray to some but I like her and she backs up her products as well as her books with the goods.

Doctors for years said my bloods were fine and they can’t find out what was wrong with me; had all sorts, fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, no weight loss after a calorie deficit etc. Davinias info literally changed my life!!!! I got private bloods done showing a host of things the nhs bloods weren’t picking up plus, gut tests showing I had parasites and bad bacteria’s. Without Davinias info I’d have had a pretty miserable life just boiling it down to mid life aging and menopause. I wear size 8 clothes, have more muscle definition than when in my twenties and I’m winning in my job from better focus.

say what you will but I LOVE her products!

I I follow another one of the nutjobs and this was their post today - she deserves to be called out the utter prick. "I'm heartbroken for my friends in Cali experiencing the fires, and here's a link to an air filter which I get comms on if you click this link" 🤬🤬🤬
