BBC have got on the bandwagon even though he's done nothing of note with them for years.

Therefore I wish to join them on the bandwagon and let everyone know I AllSeeingEye123 has no plans to work with David Walliams in the future.

Oohhhh, something big's coming. They wouldn't do this for an 'inappropriate with young adult women at a publishing company' case. There'd be nobody left working at the BBC. They know something's coming...

I would never line that man's pockets.

Same. Its so hard for new authors to break through and get publishing deals and he gets it handed on a plate to him on a plate.

I always like to look for lesser known authors when buying my son books rather than line the already full pockets of people like him.

‘In June this year, it was reported the author made two Nazi salutes during a recording of the Christmas edition of the BBC's comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?.
The comedian apparently 'jokingly' made the salutes while Call the Midwife actress Helen George was telling a story from her time on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
The host, Rob Brydon, condemned Walliams and reminded him that the show went out before the watershed.
However, as George continued to explain her Strictly story, Walliams is said to have made the gesture for a second time, this time with a sexual twist.
Walliams's team captain, Lee Mack was said to have looked unimpressed while one audience member revealed the salutes landed 'awkwardly'.’

I don’t watch Would I Lie To You, was this about something that happened in last Christmas episode or one that’s coming up?

I don't think its been shown yet.
Hope they don't pull it as I love that show, even though I don't want to watch him on it.

Edited to add it is due to be shown on Boxing Day at 7.
Depending on what the allegations are they still have time to pull it.

I do often wonder if there's some kind of childhood trauma, especially sexual, that helps mould people like David Walliams, Russell Brand etc, into sex addicts and/or deviants.

And/or boys. I mentioned to someone years ago that he gave me JS vibes and they dismissed it then remembered an incident where he got a young lad from the audience and dry humped him 'for laughs' all in plain sight but when it's for 'comedy' no one bats an eyelash.

I have never been able to stand this guy. To reiterate what others have said, I find him creepy. I tended to give him a pass since the kids at school love his books, like fighting over the books in the library. Even the ones who aren't into reading get into books. Finding books that children who hate reading get passionate about made me want to give him a slight chance. However, after what I've seen and read on the secret celeb thread, I think I can just justify my unease haha.

I’m a teacher too and posted months ago about how smutty his books are. I know children love them and shriek at the gruesomeness he often details but as an adult it just seems he gets as much filth as he can get away with in them.
Not a fan.

Hes a Temu Roald Dahl at best. His books using the same style of illustrations is a conscious decision to rip off his image

Could not agree more. Too many people are desperate to cover their own arses with little regard for the victims. Because those in the know are aware that what happened is wrong yet chose the quiet life.

Honestly im not sure if the current allegations are enough to get his Alton Towers land closed and books completely removed from school libraries. They may rename the land to take his actual name from it which is far cheaper to do.

But if stuff comes out in more detail about serious sexual assault , or especially under age girls or boys then I think that will do it.

If she’s older and used to dress him up etc wouldn’t she be the one taking advantage of him?

Surprised comments on his Instagram are still allowed. Harpers Collins has been called woke for dropping him and someone uttered that dreadful phrase ‘be kind’. Still quite a few supporters too!
