BBC have got on the bandwagon even though he's done nothing of note with them for years.

Therefore I wish to join them on the bandwagon and let everyone know I AllSeeingEye123 has no plans to work with David Walliams in the future.
I'm cancelling my TV Licence on Monday....

They are still airing Would I Lie To You with DW as a guest, and showing TV adaptations of his books. They are just not doing any new projects. They can p!ss off, I'm done.

Page 7 in the Daily Star today. It can only be him. What's being said fits and this coming out at this moment is a sign I reckon.

I’ve never liked DW since that awful Presidents Club dinner he hosted. How on earth could men think that sort of thing was acceptable. I hate the fact his childrens books are so popular.

Like Jimmy Savile wearing those tiny jogging shorts everywhere. They really want to make everyone uncomfortable.

Delighted he's gone. They can frame it that he chose to leave all they want but its obvious he was given no choice. If only they would axe the entire thing. Hopefully now the same fate awaits his books and he fucks off into oblivion.
The panel has needed a shake up for some time.

Hopefully Schofield gets the job and gives BGT the kiss of death.

.....no words
I hope more people come forward re DW......not that I think he'll get charged with much, because these things still don't get taken seriously enough.....but hopefully he won't work again.....he needs putting on the sex offender register.....

Jonathan Ross needs to take a good long look at himself.......he's already been involved in the Russel Brand phone call......now he finds this stage show amusing. There's something wrong with his wiring somewhere 🤔

And Rob Bryden and Matt Lucas....... I'm sure you were very aware of more than you admit to.......

Did he even swim? I think he got in the boat
There were pics of him when he did the Thames for Sports Relief but from what I remember, it was the same shot in all the papers so I wouldn't be surprised if he got in, and had a paddle around until the paps got their fill then got out about. I don't know if there was any actual proof he did it other than the media claiming he did. He got his money's worth though because he claimed afterward it made him ill and I remember a bunch of 'Poor David' articles online.

What I am wondering about all this is how much Matt Lucas knows...I know they fell out for a few years and no one ever truly got an answer why. Even in his book, Matt was cagey about it and claimed it was loads of little things but surely that wasn't big enough for them to stop speaking for years. They only started talking again after Dale Winton's funeral IIRC. So did Matt know and keep quiet, not know, or does he also have skeletons he doesn't want to be rattling?

Not sure what to make of all this stuff about DW - not because i am a fan. I am anything but. I also think there is something about him that makes the hair stand up on my neck and makes the internal warning bells go off. His behaviour makes me feel uncomfortable and I find his "humour" bizarre to say the least.

He does not ( and hasn't ever) made me laugh. I did not like Little Britain - based on an episode I did watch and as result I didn't watch Come Fly With Me. I am trying to recall why I didn't like either show at the time - I would like to say because I didn't like both Lucas & Walliams mocked anyone who wasn't able bodied, thin, white or physically attractive. BUT I imagine it's because I just didn't find it all that funny.

Despite what has happened with HL and the Telegraph article - not sure that this is when the whole truth will emerge. I assume his lawyers/ PR team are all holding up a carpet and trying to sweep it under. This stuff wont stay quiet forever though - these types of story rarely do. It feels like its just scratched the surface of what's to come.
Agree, I wonder if it'll all go quiet for a bit....

He can't really do a big "coming out" show like Schofe did, hoping to get people on side and hoping the stories will go away.

BBC are saying they won't touch him, the publishers have dropped him. What choices does that leave? 🤔 Will he skulk away, live happily on the money he's earned.......I'm guessing his arrogance won't allow that, even though that's probably his best option at this point.

Is he just going to come out with the "unwise but not illegal" statements? He'll always have people defending him.

Is he going to be seen going for a walk with his elderly mother to gain sympathy....

DW may never be charged with anything, just like PS, as the world doesn't understand the full extent/impact of grooming/coercion/manipulation and those things are so hard to prove.

BBC and others are probably waiting for viewing figures of Would I Lie To You before they decide next steps..... if it has good viewer ratings, that's all that matters to them, and they and other media outlets will have him back at some point, and continue showing his programmes but probably with some firm rules on behaviour...... who knows......

Heard Matt Lucas plugging his new children's book on a radio advert today. The timing is no coincidence 😂
These children's books have been lucrative for a while now. Ghostwritten. We had Madonna, Katie Price! Walliams, Sarah Ferguson, Lucas and I'm sure there must be more celeb literary geniuses
Don't even need to ghostwrite them now just churn it out with AI.

Looks like WILTY is still going ahead at the moment.

Since they've already had to cut segments and edit out his inappropriate 'jokes' that made everyone else uncomfortable, I suspect he's featuring as minimally in the final edit as they could allow, given that he apparently couldn't be trusted not to do a Nazi salute or other obscene hand gesture when the camera was on him

The biggest issue for me is that time and time again it's "the system" that allows these abusers to carry on for years and in some cases even protects them (Epstein as the biggest case in point), the entertainment industry as a whole is full of abusers - music, film, tv, publishing - they're fucking everywhere and even in 2026, in some cases, are deemed important enough to continue covering up their crimes.

How many times have we heard women being told to stay away from certain "stars" or make sure you are never alone with them?
WTF?
Same as we've always been told to be careful of how we dress or behave around certain men.
How about the same effort being put into telling the actual abusers to stop, that their behaviour is unacceptable and that they cannot continue behaving in this way
Don't upset The Talent and ruin a moneyspinner for our organisation. Turn a blind eye and put up with it.

I don’t mind him but I find the camp act a bit offputting. He plays it up so much that people think he is gay, and it’s very much played for laughs that he acts camp and that doesn’t really sit right with me. To me it feeds into the narrative of alienating gay people by making them an object to laugh at. Like, young men today see that and think oh if you act like that you can be laughed at? This probably makes me sound really snowflake-y, I’m not explaining it as well as I could. 😅 it just doesn’t gel and it’s so tiring to me personally.

I’m sure I read, and this is total unfounded gossip, that he was/is a right sleaze who as @Mustard says prefers much younger women!
You hit the nail on the head there, he’s playing an offensive stereotype and using it to become the nations darling. I’ve always preferred Matt Lucas to Walliams.

Although if I’m honest I “cancelled” them when they did black face on that airport comedy show they did. Just a hard no from me.

My dad hates him, calls him an “odious man”. 😂
Your dad sounds smart 🥳

From the DM ‘The children's author has published more than 40 works’ - his first children’s book was published in 2008. How on earth has he managed to keep up standards and publish 40 in an 18 year period? He must be pumping out 2-3 books a year? Roald Dahl only published around 20 children’s books in about 46 years!
Quantity over quality
