Daz is just weird. He has a chip on his shoulder about something. The fact that he was doing temp jobs, and didn't get offered the full time role, makes me wonder if he is just difficult, and rubs people up the wrong way. He wants the finer things in life, and is constantly talking about money, how much he paid, and upgrades. Very defensive in the comments, borderline rude. Does not have a great knowledge of London or food. He would bore the a of most people.

Yes, you have nailed it, and DJ like you say was uncomfortable but if he had kept it together instead of alienating MM he could have been coining it in with all those extra eyes on the channel.I did wonder if all this was something to do with The Macmaster, this happened years ago (possibly 2?) and it’s still talked about a lot. If you read quite a few of the comments on his videos you’ll see Macmaster gets mentioned quite a lot and people love to take the p*** saying “make sure you keep a room spare for macmaster when he visits you” and the likes. I thought the same thing in that he left him when he was on a downwards spiral with no explanation really as to why other than he saw him for what he is which is basically he was just using him to gain extra subs and Macmaster finally cottoned on to it. When I asked Macmaster why they’d fallen out he just said something a long the lines of he’d seen his true colours and he’s an awful person, horrible to women etc. I’ve heard this mentioned a few times by people about Darren John, that’s he’s not this nice and wise gentle old man that he likes to come across as but in real life is the opposite. And if it’s true that he’s awful to women then he deserves all he gets. I watch his videos in bewilderment, I find them oddly entertaining. At first I enjoyed his walks around London, it’s a place I’m fairly familiar with and I liked seeing which places he recommended to visit but over the years he’s gone more and more downhill and depressed and now I watch it with a sense of wonder at how someone can reach the grand age of 55 yet appear to look 65 and also still hasn’t found his path in life and continues to wonder around like a lost puppy trying to find his calling. I find it all entertaining in a weird and morbid way. Maybe it’s because it makes me feel slightly better about my lifebut you can tell he’s pining for The Macmaster, he would love nothing more than for him to reach out and become friends again. I believe something must have happened on his last visit and it all came to blows, Macmaster used to stay in his London apartment with him and even had his own spare room with a desk in for him to edit his videos whenever he stayed, they used to do lives together from said apartment. One of the last videos I recall watching of them together was The Macmaster taking the absolute p*** out of the owner of London’s worst rated restaurant and forcing Darren to wear a wig and pretend to be a tourist just to gain entry into the restaurant so they wouldn’t be kicked out and Darren was really uncomfortable doing it, you could really sense it in the video. That’s the point where I think they fell out because the video was the complete opposite to Darren’s usual style.

Yeah I saw similar on the Macmaster Facebook page some guy asked DJ for a selfie and DJ refused and was very offish.
Darrens such a laugh. He cant leave London without fish and chips in this CERTAIN pub. He will be boasting at the end of the clip how much they have cost no doubt as im sure getting ripped off is now a flex of sorts;

Someone commented on one with Darren's videos when he was in Thailand saying Geoff was in Thailand aswell, Darren just replied "Good for him"
I remember DJ referring to The Macmaster and his cronies (words to that effect) he was referring to Geoff buys cars, Stephen Walk on the Wildside and I guess Geoff Carter too!

News from Pattaya is that the Gary Glitters are in full meltdown as the Thai banks are sending out letters saying that they must all get a Thai tax number and all transactions on their accounts will be monitored. A copy will be sent to HMRC. If they don't comply then their accounts will be closed.
