And the viewing figures are not good and thats putting it mildly. When he first arrived he was posting more or less every day. Now its around 6 a month, on his food channel and around 12 per month on the other one. He doesn't appear to be able to do anything right. He turns up in Thailand with a forged IDP, gets ripped of by a property agent, then he defames the local Thai police and has to take the post down. The icing on the cake is when he gets caught on film with a Thai prostitute, half his age, in a seedy bar. When he does post something he manages to alienate even more people with a combination of pointless content and his own replies in the comments section. The last one should have been fairly uncontroversial. I mean what could possibly go wrong with filming a property, well until honest John puts his foot in it by directing enquiries, regarding the property, to his own business email address. This prompted a tsunami of criticism and piss taking. This guy sure has a talent for fucking up and rubbing people up the wrong way. His channel is a must watch for people like me, as I suffer from an inferiority complex.

Whilst I agree the son makes no effort to entertain the viewers on blogs (not really his place to do so) he is actually very successful and a bit of a go getter, hence why he is in a senior role and is being moved with his firm to offices over in the states.
Personally my take on DJ is this…
He was probably on 5k subs before he met MM and wouldn’t have had anywhere near the same level of success without the MM. When MM used him up and spat him out I felt sorry for him but over time DJ has begun to grain on me for the following reasons;
• He makes zero efforts in all his videos he does just enough to get his money. He rarely interacts with anyone else on camera to make the content more varied. You don’t see him go out his comfort zone he just films the bare minimum with no back story and little research and it shows.
• His editing, my word, the stuff of legend, compulsive viewing in its own right. The fade to black mid episode for 3 minutes where no-one knows what is going on. Mid episode Darren is talking and no sound comes out because he dubbed himself. The inappropriate creepy music, he could be eating a fry up but has some weird music befitting of a gothic horror in the background. He has no idea how to deal with copy right music or is too lazy to ask a bar owner etc to turn the music down so instead we have a video ruined where we can’t hear him talk because his pilled loud pretentious music on top.
•Poor choice of channel names empty chairs and empty tables, what was wrong with DJ’s food audits?
•Some of the web-toed troglodytes he attracts in the comments, some of the views they hold disgust me.
•His repetitive vocabulary, you can guarantee whenever he eats meat he will say “the meat was so tender”. Who can forget when he was in NYC reviewing the banana milkshake… “the milkshake tastes like bananas”, riveting stuff Darren John.
•Silly catch phrases, how u doing and now he seems to have dumped “off the charts”.
• The poor choices he makes, mistake after mistake, on holiday missing flights getting ripped off, wasting money on business class flights (although the latter I can forgive because if he works and earns well its his money I guess)
He owns no property by his own admission due to living the high life, moving back to margate is beneath him. I just find it really grotty the whole old fat white men shopping for sleazy desperate, poor, Thai Women but hey that’s just me!

Latest offering was hilariously bad. DJ buys a banana pudding (looked very nice actually), he then eats and reviews it sitting near the noisiest water feature. Someone commented "next time could you sit next to a jet engine, it would be quieter"

Fatty can’t get a women in the UK, he is a control freak and wants his subscribers to think he is a sweet, innocent old man captivated in the wonderment of Thailands ‘Majestic’ beaches food and Buddhist culture.
When in reality this ‘diamond geezer’ with his Dazy Duke, Espresso Martini, How you doing all that crap none sense is a grotty fat old perv. He ponces a living making woeful 10 minute content so he can have a jolly up from all the views which is a split of the inbred gammon who watch him and the others who just want to laugh at him.
He is having a jolly up at everyone's expense what he isn’t showing on camera is all the adsense revenue is not only keeping his belly fat but keeping his bed warm full of hookers.

I posted a few months ago that although Dazzler seems harmless enough (those that know him may say different) I'm certain I'm witnessing some kind of slow motion breakdown right before my very eyes. I had to pause the vlog where he's playing darts (alone) in the Sports Bar when I saw his 'How You Doin' shorts. There's so many questions I've got yet so little time. My guess, like many others, is that he'll be back in the UK before the year is out. He won't be able to afford London prices and will therefore be back in sunny Margate. Fair play for him for trying but these things need planning, a lot of it, so selling everything and leaving right before Christmas was bordering on bizarre. Lets be fair, he should have made at least a few mates by now seeing as there's hundreds if not thousands of similar aged blokes in Pattaya but he seems to lead a sad existence.....on camera at least.....as we all know about his night time secret activities. I must facepalm myself 50 times per vlog...it's getting painful to watch!!
