Seeing as weed isn’t actually legal can’t we get the cop shop raiding his gaff?
Unfortunately it is legal the way he is getting it. He is basically abusing a system put in place to help people with chronic illnesses access medical marijuana. There are supposed to be strict checks in place to ensure you are actually diagnosed with a condition that it will help with and you are only given what you actually need to alleviate your symptoms. The way he tells it it would seem this particular place is not so strict. It's quite clear he is using it for recreational purposes and that is not what the system was set up for at all.

Yesterdays live Davey indicates he’s paying £650 for medical weed a month! Interesting how he’s named the clinic and then gone on to say “the doctor there said it’s just a formality …everyone gets the weed…doesn’t matter what condition you have; just make sure you tell your GP you have this condition wink wink…they want to give this weed to everyone you see. This seems at complete odds to the NICE guidelines on the use of such medicine and absolutely against current UK practice. I felt it was therefore my civic duty to raise my concerned with the practice in question today; sending them a copy of his video to ensure they concurred with his sentiments before I made an official complaint about them. 😄
Please do let us know when they respond.

So he was spending £880 p/m on 'street weed' and now that's reduced to £600 p/m for prescription...

Wow Sam. I bet you're glad he's got that 100k investment so you can now use the money to pay your energy bills when the prices go up again.

I doubt David has ever contributed to paying any household costs - 'I can't right now babe, but when we're millionaires I'll give you the world'

1 ounce a week WOW thats a massive amount of weed to smoke. Thats easily 10 joints a day and with that you have someone who is consistently stoned every waking hour. That is a huge addiction no doctor in there right mind would let someone smoke that much on a daily basis. I cant underestimate how much weed that is and smoking that much weed never ever ends well.

Explains a lot of the dillusion and unfulfilled promises. Maybe Kaz and Sam are just as doped up just by being near him, only way to explain their pathetic fawning of a giant man-baby who fails at everything he does.

Imagine the impact on the kids growing up in such a house...

Saddest part of this whole thing.

Okay, let's just break this down. So an ounce is 28g and we all know that Dan smokes everyday so he's using 2g per day.

Where I live, depending on the strain, 1g can cost £10-£20, but often dealers give discounts if you buy in bulk, so £600 per month sounds about right.

There is absolutely no way that a doctor is prescribing him weed in bud form (the smoke able form), they are only allowed to prescribe it in liquid form, usually an oil that you take a certain amount of each day.

So either Dan's dealer has the nickname doctor, or he's got himself a CanCard which are legit, but in no way is it a prescription, it's essentially just a document that a doctor needs to sign that says this patient smokes weed for x condition. It also doesn't magically make the weed their smoking legal, if you're stopped by the police for smoking/carrying weed and you produce the card, it's up to the police officers discretion if they want to charge you or not, it's not a get out of jail free card and you do not pick up weed from the local pharmacy 😅

Also, sadly smoking weed around children isn't a safe guarding risk, yes its frowned upon but ultimately unless there's a risk to the children, such as the house being attacked for drug debt, or them being neglected due to the Cannabis use then there isn't really anything Social Care can do. As long as Dan continues to smoke it away from the children and they're cared for there's nothing that can be done sadly.

I mean unless Sam gets her act together but I doubt that'd happen.

Where is the money coming from to fund Dan and Sam's lifestyle?

I know she had a real job at one time but gave that up. Dan has never worked a day in his life (or at least not the past decade), and has fully squandered any modicum of success he ever achieved. I assume Kaz has money and/or her husband has a job, at least supporting that family. Surely Kaz isn't giving money to Dan?!

We know Dan has zero control and instantly burns through any money he scams himself into. But now there's nothing coming in, don't tell me a few thousand fake views on YT is remotely enough to live on. Was there some pot of savings previously untouched by Dan that they are now draining?

Not super relevant, and I know there's no way to ever really know, but I'd love to better understand this aspect.

How do I get a prescription for medical cannabis? At the time of writing, the NHS is not prescribing medical cannabis, so patients must be prepared to pay for a private prescription. However, an NHS specialist is legally permitted to prescribe the medicine, so it always worth asking! See question 2 for more on this. First, find a medical cannabis clinic. A Google search for medical cannabis clinics will give you a range of choices, or have a look at our clinic directory. Fill in the details required – this usually includes information about your medical history. When the clinic responds, they will provide next steps which will vary by provider. You may need to speak to your GP for a referral letter, or ask them to release your medical notes to the clinic. They may contact your GP on your behalf. Your records will be sent to the clinic’s consultant who will decide whether you are eligible for medical cannabis treatments. Clinics will not see you without the relevant medical records or a GP referral. If you are eligible for medical cannabis treatment, you will be sent an appointment request via tele-health consultation (during restrictions due to Covid-19). 2. Can I get an NHS prescription for medical cannabis? Currently, medical cannabis prescriptions are only available in the private sector. Limited guidance for doctors mean that no new NHS prescriptions for medical cannabis have been issued in last 18 months. Legally there is no barrier, but in practical terms this is almost impossible.

1.How is medical cannabis taken or administrated? There are many ways to take medical cannabis. Oils can be taken under-the-tongue, or there are capsules, topical creams or dried flower for vaping. Smoking is not allowed. Most prescriptions are for oil and dried flower. Your doctor will discuss the best way to consume medical cannabis for your symptoms. 2. When might someone choose whether to vape or ingest medical cannabis? Vaping is usually for “breakthrough” pain when a quick result is needed, as vaping effects come on quickly (in minutes) but last only about 2 to 3 hours. Oil provides better background relief all day long when taken 2 to 3 times daily. Your doctor will advise what is best for you. CONSU M I NG AND DOS I NG M EDICA L CANNABI S 3. How long does the cannabis effect last and how long to start working? It depends on what form you take it in. Vaping will mean a quicker effect (in minutes) and last about 2 to three hours or so. Taking an oil will take longer to have an effect (maybe 60-120 minutes) but lasts longer (maybe 6 hours or so). Everyone is very variable, but this is an average.

So, that looks pretty conclusive to me, even by private prescription, his medical records wouldn't back up a need for it?

Has he actually said he's smoking it? Or vaping? He'd probably confuse the two anyway...🤦‍♀️

So in one of his videos he says he gets it from NHS and turns out its not NHS at all but private. Then he says he got stoned on it (clearly not what it was intended for) but I can't imagine ANY clinic encouraging smoking it so in what form is he getting his?

I really can’t go into details. But I work in this field and he is most definitely full of tit.

Thank you 🥰

In that case, he's not been stupid enough to actually name drop a real clinic where he's supposedly getting a prescription?? Instead of Mr Blue in a fluorescent tracksuit who makes regular deliveries in his battered Peugeot 205 (with a thumping boombox) at a bargain price?!

Ok, let’s look at what’s in the public domain. Several interest groups trying to get medicinal cannabis. Frankly, there is evidence that it works for some conditions (not the ones that David thinks he has, as it happens) but the NHS can’t roll it out without robust research because a) we need to know it’s safe and b) the tax payer need to know that we’re not wasting their money. The problem is supply. It’s a bloody minefield. Honestly, it really is more than my jobs worth but several government agencies really are doing their best for vulnerable patients that may benefit. David, I’m afraid, does not qualify.

So I’ve carried out a little research into this clinic who are prescribing David.
Thank you 🥰

So I’ve had a reply from his clinic Usual usual standard how they can’t discuss individuals or cases but they abide by all UK guidelines on such prescriptions; they take patient safety and well-being very importantly you know and have a strict code of conduct. They will look into my concerns and thank me for bringing the matter to their attention.(my civic duty obviously) Dave hope you haven’t lost the phone number to your Peugeot 205 dealer ..you might need it soon 😂 You utter Plank.

I remember a case not long ago a mother was saying how extremely difficult it was to obtain medicinal cannabis for her son who had a rare epilepsy condition and even though the boy was a prime candidate she was still having trouble getting it…. that man really is the biggest bullshitter going he wouldn’t know the truth if it hit in the bollocks with a shovel.
