Yeah. I agree about DMC, she was great in This Country, then I think it was Taskmaster when I saw her and really didn't like her at all, I thought she came across as pretty horrible but everyone on Twitter seemed to love her at the time 🤷‍♀️

Iv worked out like another comedian who has a thread on here is that I like them both as actresses but I don’t particularly enjoy their comedy or them when they are themselves like on a panel show or podcast for example

now I know that I can avoid them or when I can’t i know going in that they annoy the duck out of me!

Charlie has had a new paranormal show commissioned by the BBC its 6 x 30 min episodes exploring spooky places
Unfortunately Daisy is appearing too but you can't have everything 🤷‍♀️

My stepson, who will watch any old crap about the supernatural gave up halfway through episode two with the words “Dear god, that woman!”

I thought it was a bit weird. I got the vibe that they're barely friends let alone siblings. In the first episode (spoiler I guess) she gets up in the middle of the night to put fake tan on. Still clinging onto that "joke" she did on Instagram years ago when it wouldn't wash off? The supernatural bit aside, I didn't mind that side to it and how people really believe and some really don't and a light-hearted but affectionate send up of people who do ghost hunts but the whole thing was just so weak. They didn't do enough with the ghost-hunting side and their relationship is no where near good enough for it to be a warm show about siblings bonding. They seem almost strangers to each other at bits

Sorry, I'm on a rant now 😂 but I quite liked the Charlie Cooper one he did about folklores and myths, but in this he feels pushed out and I felt like she saw the success of his show and wanted to shoehorn herself in, and it's ruined the charm Charlie's had and has just become another excuse for her to show off how "funny" she is

The lack of rapport between them was jarring considering they wrote such a funny show together, it felt really forced and stilted. Weird.

I thought it was quite telling when Charlie was talking about Daisy going out all the time and staying out pissed for days that he had to take the brunt and become the perfect child in comparison, it didn't sound like the healthiest upbringing for them
