Another holiday........how many is that this year alone?

The hardworking flower grower that does duck all but take holidays and takes all the credit when something finally goes right instead of giving the credit to the real people behind the scenes that have to work through her chaotic input and make the tit show work. Nice.

Is it me or does the field not look so colourful this year? Someone even said if ‘I come back in September it will look better?’! Also, why would you share personal things like the contents of the card. They’re all going to write knowing that she’ll share it. Probably why her eldest daughter isn’t on it 👀 she rarely credits anyone working for her. They work so hard. No sign of the new COO since that brief introduction 🤔

Jeez anyone fancy a job with the lazy, holiday going, chaotic whiner? Personally I'd rather pull my own teeth out with pliers. Be less painful.

I win again......she loves to quote me.....

Let's be fair Andy if it was left to you you wouldn't have done nearly as well as you have done. It's got duck all to do with you and everything to do with the real grafters behind the scenes, because all you do us have holidays and gurn into the screen. It's not a win for you it's a win for them.
Perhaps you should confess that you actually like to come over here and read about yourself......hell I'm helping you to make your content. You couldn't do it without me.

I saw a comment on that post about how someone isn't happy with the tubers that bought from her. Wonder if that comment magically disappears.

Probably. It's all smoke and mirrors on that page.

When will people, especially those with large amount of followers, learn that they shouldn't put their kids on instagram showing their name and what school they go to?

God she must be such an exhausting boss! Always on such a rollercoaster and I would bet anything she overshares to her employees!

Sorry if this has been said before but the flowers are just peg she has chosen to try to hang her social media career on. She doesn’t give a flying duck about dahlias. She wants to be adored and ‘famous’ It’s all for show. She doesn’t want to genuinely learn about farming and being a British grower. The complete lack of care and regard for the customers she has sent poor quality dahlia tubers or even the wrong varieties (and lots with gall) to the facebook group shows she has no clue what she is doing!

One might think that maybe the Dahlias should have been planted earlier so you don’t have a whole crop still in October when there will obviously be frosts… 🤷‍♀️🙄
None of her flowers came up until August, if she’s timed them for July she would have had a lot more time in bloom before the frosts started

Exactly. Like I said earlier the silly born cow hasn't got a clue. Plant late and this is what you're up against. It's basics. What a complete and utter waste. Oh and watch this space......I fully expect my words to feature on a reel, they usually do, without me she's got boring content.

Came by to say the same thing.

It’s October 11th. Who in there right mind expects to still have dahlias at this time. Peak season is July and August. Now is the time to start thinking of lifting the Tubers from the frost!

plant earlier to save the stress and extra money of protecting the flowers from the frost!

Although I thought the fields looked their best this year with the membrane down, membrane and earlier next year and she’ll be away!

Another thing to add, the membrane might have worked if they had put more than a single tissue paper sheet over it. Whenever we wrap any tender flowers it’s like it’s swathed in a duvet of the stuff, it looks quite comical. You don’t want even a drop of frost getting through and it was like they just took single ply toilet paper and wafted it over the top. Such a waste of time and money but she already knows that now, it’s a lesson learned for next year.

My good friend is a flower farmer. She looked ahead at the forecast and harvested everything she had left on Wednesday and Thursday. She did 2 long days to get everything in, conditioning and protected in the barn, the last bouquets for the Friday market. As someone else said Andie left it all much too late and her thinking wafting a bit of fabric over the dahlias will be enough to keep the frost away, further shows that she has no clue what she is doing!!!

I find it fascinating that earlier in the week she was talking about the dahlia business in the same way that she was talking about having her friends over for a birthday dinner. Zero professionalism in regards to her ‘work’
