Here’s an idea… stop spending all your money going on holiday.. pay yourself a bit less.. put that money into paying people who actually know how to farm.
Oh and and in doing that you’d gain about 2 months a year in work days and wouldn’t have the constant worries from not being on the farm for a week.
What kind of farmer (or even avid gardener) leaves their crops totally unattended like she does… it’s madness…
I think she’s actually one of the most irritating people I’ve come across on Instagram and that’s saying something. Constantly buggering off on holiday after asking for volunteers to run her business, endless mistakes and things going wrong. But no, let’s go on holiday then do smug reels about it! No doubt there will be tears tomorrow when it’s all going wrong.
There are so many amazingly generous people who have been giving up their time day after day to work at her farm on a voluntary basis over the past few weeks.
She needs to be very careful with all the volunteer help she is using - she is a commercial
Enterprise and should be paying people the minimum wage , you cannot just choose to use unpaid labour as a limited company
My husband lost his job years ago and was desperate for work. Someone was running a bakery business as a lifestyle project and "employed" him and others essentially as unpaid interns as she knew they needed something for their cv etc but the whole thing was horribly exploitative. There was so much of it about with these start up/micro businesses. I see this with DB. She fannies around on holiday basically because she's getting a load of free labour. Just because you can (which itself is arguable), doesn't mean you should.
