From what I can piece together, she gave over/lost custody at the same time as the demise of design twins. At that time she said her life was rock bottom and she had spent a night in jail. Could it be related to that?

i think she likes the arrangement as it is. She can blame distance on her lack of involvement when really it’s her selfishness that keeps her away. She only has to “play” mum for a week or two, doesn’t have to deal with the hard stuff that comes with being an actual parent and can also play the poor me card all for social media likes.

Yup! If she lived closer she’d have less of an excuse as to why she never attended any of her kid’s extracurricular activities like the BJJ matches that are so important to the youngest, or be available for emergencies or sicknesses. Most mothers would live as close to their children as possible, living half way between the two. But leave it to our girl to turn her selfishness into a way to try to get sympathy on socials as the poor beleaguered long-distance mum who so loves her children that she’ll drive 6 hours to see them every two weeks. Her dedication and sacrifice are so impressive, amiright?

She was involved with an MLM for a while and roped several friends and contacts into it (I'm sure your friend can confirm!) and her pattern seems to be rushing back to it every so often when she needs a boost. All the talk about "abundance" and "scarcity mindset" tends to coincide with pushes into the MLM stuff, so it wouldn't surprise me if it is someone from that realm in her life.
