Move aside ‘transmute’, we’ve got a new buzz word in town. I lost count how many times she said ‘catalyst’. You made a career redirection. Big deal. We’ve all done it and none of us jumped on social media or proclaimed it to be podcast-worthy. I don’t think I can watch her anymore. It’s almost triggering how much she reminds me of my BPD/Narc mum.

Also, Catherine Martin would have a heart attack if she saw that installation. Not only did she lack a plan, but the vision was non-existent. The Alice Wonderland install at the Grounds transported you to another place. This install is only transporting me to the basement of my old high school arts department where props from every play we did were thrown in the corner, sorted by no particular theme. Cheap and nasty props because that’s all our public school could afford.

Many brands give designers access to trade pricing to use for their design clients. This does not allow them to resell online (in fact many contracts explicitly prohibit it).

she initially coloured between the lines by doing those cheap consults which resulted in people getting the same beige moodboard for them to style their home, but then she upsold them to buythe stuff from her at a discount and she would buy it on their behalf for an even bigger discount.

I’m guessing somewhere along the line she got sick of doing the cheap consults so decided to skip them and instead just resell the stuff without any design.

until she realised that She had to do a lot of work to arrange the items and delivery and stuff and it all got to hard and expensive.
