Crisps and savoury snacks

Two disappointments lately, both of which I'd really been looking forward to and had been actively hunting down

The M&S "extreme ridge" cornish cruncher and pickled onion crisps, I don't like to waste food but they are going in the bin, sorry! Way, way too much on the pickled onion and barely any cheese flavour. And I love monster munch pickled onion but these are yuck.

And the "Burger King" pringles, they both just taste drab and tasteless, nothing like the real thing, pointless. And I've just realised on finding an image of them that I threw the empty tubes away without redeeming the (quite good) BOGOF on the real thing burgers. Dammit!

I bought 3 tubes of the Bacon ones thinking they sounded lovely, unfortunately i'm not a pickle fan so didnt like them. I wasnt expecting pickle flavor as the BK Burger doesnt have it.

See, now I'm intrigued by them because I love pickles. The Co-op are doing some pickle crinkle cut crisps for summer but have only seen the shelf sticker, not the item itself.

I tried these and they were horrible ! (The co op pickle ones) They tasted chemically! I nearly threw them away and I don't think that's ever happened before. They must have grown on me slightly as I did end up finishing them but they weren't great.

The co op lamb and tzatziki ones on the other hand 😍

The lamb ones are delicious and I almost bought them again but remembered there were already crisps in the house.

What is everyone thinking about the big wotsits?
Wotsits on steroids 😂
Im a huge fan ~ too easy to do a whole bag in 1 sitting though. .
I gave my 18 month old grandson a few with his lunch last week . . They were bigger than his fingers 😂

Love the big wotsits but feel as though you need a couple of bags to be satisfied with them 🤣

I’m currently obsessed with marmite cashews. My appetite is tit recently with some health issues so it’s a good way to get good fats in me.

I am inspired by the poppadoms in hummus suggestion, might make a batch and then send my husband to the takeaway down the road!

Another weird combo that works is salted popcorn dipped in nacho cheese sauce. When you used to be able to help yourself at the posh seats at Odeon cinemas we did this all the time.

Aww, cute. I love them but prefer the crunchy stick ones. Mostly because they remind me of the old Nik Naks you could get but the cheese flavouring is different.

I saw salt and vinegar Skips in a corner shop recently but didn't have the money on me. Will hopefully see them again for testing.

I’m always scouting the international grocers for different tasty snacks. Today’s score is this outstanding bag of peanut puffs from Lebanon. I am a connoisseur of peanut puffs, and these are some of the best I’ve found. Really melt-in-the-mouth wonderful!

Oh those are called peanut puffs in English? They’re very popular in Germany. We call them Flips. Love them.
