I am currently sat watching the pastor's wife - what a complete psychopath that 'pastor' is.
I really hope he ends up in prison. He will just continue to abuse people. Poor Micah was just a kid when she met him. She never stood a chance.

I don't think we got told much about her time with him when she was a kid in the doc, I think she was groomed.

He definitely got in there when she was young and impressionable and he was in a significant position of power. When she died I saw it on social media and I went down a real rabbit hole. A lot of her loved ones aren’t happy with the documentary I read as they don’t think she died at her own hands. There was a lot missed out of the documentary. The guy who found her body died in a car accident not long later. If she did kill herself there is no doubt that the blame lies at his door.

Her obituary says all you need to know about her husband who was stalking her and she had just served with divorce papers.

I was married to someone who would twist religion for his own sexually deviant and porn addicted ways, and I’d been broken and gaslit for so long, I felt like I was the one who was in the wrong. Watching it was harder than I thought it would be.

Can any of you lovely people in my phone help me! I’m desperate to watch the program ‘Crime in progress’ but I can’t seem to get it. It’s not on my dodgy stick lol and I have my son’s prime but it says that crime and investigation I have to pay separately for - is that right? Thanks in advance x

Yes it’s a separate subscription to crime and investigation on prime but you should initially get a free month’s trial and not be charged, just make sure you cancel before the end of the free month.
That’s what I did to watch it and I can’t recommend this series enough. It’s one of the best I’ve ever seen.

Ok! So free trial then cancel - got you. Thanks so much! I will be doing this later for sure. Are there a lot of episodes?

I watched the first episode of Crime in Progress this morning. Not sure if it's because I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself (not well) but I cried almost all the way through it and it's very rare for me to be emotional about true crime. Not sure I can cope if they're all that intense! 😥

I also watched this week's Accused: Guilty or Innocent? earlier as well. Only one episode this week and I can't see one listed for next week so it might be the last one of the season. This show gives me the bleeping rage most weeks but I still love it 🙈

Thank you so much for recommending this. I binge watched 5 episodes last night on Now TV and I’ll be watching the rest today.
You’re right it’s excellent and the things the police have to deal with are truly shocking.

I also watched it today and it is the best documentary series I’ve seen in some time, very cleverly done. The first episode was brutal though 😭

Cold Case Forensics on ITVX featuring high profile cases solved by the absolute goddess that is Dr Angela Gallop. Very interesting and uplifting to look at the level of thinking at work and to know such incredible & intelligent people exist.

Binged The Pastors Wife & I was aghast.
The medical decline of Mica then bouncing back must have been exhausting for her.
Preachy pastor was an absolute POS, so bloody selfish & selfish centred.
Constantly, relentlessly preaching about the obligation of a wife to satisfy & serve her husband sexual OR ELSE, no mention of men doing the same (not that it mattered just showed how his mind worked)
Her friends & family were rightly so aware & concerned & they didn't know the half of it.

On Monday at 9pm on Crime and Investigation there's a programme called the bodies on the bridge. It's about the case in Bristol in 2024 about 2 men from London being found on the Clifton suspension bridge

This was SO evident when he had the audacity to call her divorce attorney and then so gave himself away by evidencing his claim that they had a ‘perfect marriage’ by saying that when she was well she never text another man unless he was also in the group chat. The level of control he thought was normal was unbelievable and the fact that he thought that her submission to this level of control was evidence of a perfect marriage was just mind-blowing.

I believe it's Dr Angela Gallop who is involved in the testing of exhibits from the Lin and Megan Russell murders in 1996. If anyone can use DNA to finally answer this case, she can.

JP Miller is an appalling excuse of a human being. There is lots of stuff he’s involved with that wasn’t covered in the documentary. I really hope he gets found guilty at court and has to face consequences for his actions as the slippery fucker has been getting away with his behaviour for too long.

Thanks for the Crime in Progress recommendation. Able to download it on Sky. The first episode was so sad and so intense.
