Does anyone here ever use Folksy or sells on Folksy? I've got a poor neglected shop on Etsy that I want to get up and running again but saw this post yesterday and now wondering if I should try Folksy instead. There is a lot of stuff on Etsy that I love but a lot of it is not handmade and I don't ship outside the UK so Folksy make so much more sense for me.....but do people even know it exists????

I don’t sell anything but Etsy has gotten pretty bad for letting people sell mass produced tat I believe.
yeh that’s another reason for moving - Folksy is actually all handmade which Etsy just claims to be
Have a look at British Craft House too. I’ve never heard of Folksy but its ethos reminds me of British Craft House

Has anyone got a sticker maker at home? Preferably one that could do nice quality Kraft paper style rather than tacky ones? Their intended use is just for fun, baking bread & wild garlic butter for friends, but I’d love it if could look

I had one over twenty years ago. I can't remember the brand. There was a lot a waste of the sticky part depending on what size and shape your sticker was. I don't even know if refills are available anymore. I might have given it to Goodwill.Has anyone got a sticker maker at home? I’ve given it a google and it may make more sense for us to use precut stickers on a roll… and a custom stamp? They don’t seem that badly priced tbf and I think the ink on paper will feel more premium than a photosensitive paper thing? Has anyone done this before, wondering if the stamps are too good to be true as they’re really not badly priced?!

Last summer I bought the Attic 24 Yuletide blanket kit, with the aim of starting in August/September to give myself plenty of time....and I left it to late and then there was not enough time.
I did a practice run of the first few rounds today using scrap yarn, so i didn't waste anything in the yarn pack for it.
It is a sort of combination of granny rounds, solid granny rounds and spike stitch rounds.

I haven't done this myself but I think going this is the way to go. I know that people have found the custom made stamps to work well.

Yes- it looks like she’s travelled to Switzerland to go to an assisted suicide clinic (apologies if that’s not the right terminology). Terribly sad.
