The first jab doesn’t start to work in your system until 12 days later and after the full second dose it doesn’t have its full effect until 7 days later.
It is completely probable this women caught covid before the end of the first 12 days and began displaying symptoms 7-10 days later.
She easily could have not been protected by the first dose never mind not reaching the second yet.

This is a non story designed to hysteria with no real cause for concern actually warranted.
Well obviously that a chance everyone will have to take especially as they think the benefits (if there are any ) of the vaccine will be lost with people dropping their guard and ignoring the restrictions.

Should we try and clap for them?
That works right?

The urgent call comes as it has emerged that CUH is on the verge of triggering an emergency escalation plan.

In addition to staff being off sick, the hospital has had to divide its resources three ways — to staff non-Covid-19 care and Covid-19 care, and to staff the rollout of the vaccinations programme.

On top of that, staff are also having to miss work for up to two or three days at a time because they have nobody to mind their children

but the childcare workers that don’t want to work and teachers being paid a full wage for doing nothing 😐

Good spot, one of the articles says she wanted to remain anonymous but mentioned she had a partner and one child who tested positive and she was also Welsh.

Sounds like she is desperate for 5 minutes.
That's what i thought too much of a coincidence ?

I still have Easter Eggs leftover from last year!! 😂 I have a weird thing of liking to have Easter Eggs all year round so I stagger them all out for the months in between to make them last! 😂 it’s lovely having an Easter Egg in August and September! My partner always buys me a box of 48 creme eggs too! 😂

I can't believe they're already in the shops ,might stock up incase they have us under house arrest by that time the Easter bunny will have to visit regardless, last year I left them out a day early lost track of the days but nobody noticed 😂

My friend who works in a covid ward is booked for her vaccine Monday which is great! She said the cases in our local hospital have trippled in a matter of weeks and they have 1 ventilator left. Its absolutely terrifying because its not just covid patients who need ventilators so something which may not have killed you possibly could now, or doctors are going to have to decide who gets the ventilator and who doesn't.

Haha! Do it!! I know it’s the same chocolate as a chocolate bar but a chocolate egg just tastes different and it’s so lovely to have!

Dare I ask why he got 15??? I mean, I don’t blame him.
3 boxes of 5... just in case 🤷‍♀️

He’s not seen them in 6 months (they were at our local garden centre when it reopened post lockdown 1), the poor man was feeling deprived I think

I get irrationally upset when they stop selling mini eggs and creme eggs. I feel so much joy when I see them again in January.
