The only people I like hugging are my husband and my kids. I can do that so I’m ok.

I feel this is the only place I can say this, I’m enjoying not seeing people. I enjoy being at home pottering around and I’ve gained a new sense of confidence as the worry of people seeing me and judging me had gone down. I went out in a dress I’ve had for years but never worn as it was short and my arms were out. Husband said I looked amazing and the lady as the garden centre said it was really lovely 😊

My mum keeps saying how she misses life and I agree as not to sound weird.
I feel exactly the same. I miss my parents and siblings and yeah I actually miss going to work. But other than that I love not having to see other people, I love not having to socialise

I think I'm gonna need a social media break (apart from tattle of course!) as I'm getting far too cross seeing how many people don't give a tit and are just doing what they want
Same its proper pissing me off too!

Also thinking of leaving social media as.its getting annoying beyond belief...

I'd love to know why these people are breaking it. So they not care if they get it? Think it doesn't exist? Not believe the govt? Why put your family at risk??!!

Sturgeon said this in Scotland and people are taking the piss and doing it anyway.
Yes they are taking the p... someone I know posted a BBQ street party on FB yesterday they then had a karaoke where they were all taking turns using the same 🎤 !!!
I’ve just been for my morning walk I’ve been walking in the woodland area every day. I was disgusted at the amount of rubbish plastic bags empty beer tins and even a smashed wine bottle on the grass area. It’s always been a lovely place to walk now being spoilt by ignorant selfish people who have no regard for the safety of fellow humans dogs etc 😡😡

not sure if this has been covered in here but yesterday briefing a lady asked a question along the lines of :
"where are the new infection cases catching the virus from when we have been been in lockdown for 10 weeks?"
i thought it was actually quite a good point but it got evaded and not answered properly!

I definitely don't believe the government, things just don't add up and they're being very contrary all of a sudden. Either this was not as bad as they made out in the first place, or some miracle has occurred over the past couple of weeks .I'm going to use my own judgment with a watch and wait attitude and see how things "pan out".I certainly won't be rushing out there but for me personally I think now is the time to see family ,let the kids have a bit of SD" mixing time " because when this next wave hits it'll mean they'll have been without social contact for practically a year and who knows how long we'll be locked down for the next time.I'm going to grasp this wee window of opportunity for some small social contact keeping within the hygiene measures of course..

A convoy of men arrived next to us at the beach yesterday, 2 or 3 cars, drinking beer at 8:45am. I have no idea how far they travelled but they didn't know where the carpark machine was, didn't know where to enter the beach and were asking one of the rangers where they could BBQ. I was at a National Trust beach which typically is all local NT members. Not large groups of tourists drinking and blasting music. Just not that type of beach.

My sister in law saw someone at another beach who had lost their keys in the sand and were frantic. She was helping and asked if they could get someone to drop a spare key round and he said he couldnt as home was 2hrs away.

I am really worried for the small hospitals on the south coast. We are not equipped for a big surge.
I'm South West too and someone said at 10am the beach was packed already 😔 I'd be surprised if we don't have a rise in cases.

Any NHS staff planing on getting the antibody test? Our hospital started this last week so I need to get one. Not that iv had it, just curious to see if being around it had built up anything.

Family just posted pictures on social media.10 of them in one back garden last night. Kids sat on grandparents knees and no social distancing at all. Is this just one big joke to some people?
The justification for this seems to be that everyone has stayed in for two weeks, no symptoms so we can cuddle and touch again because we are OK 😕

Ive noticed a few people saying that don't feel safe going back to work so have asked to remain on Furlough, are not sending their children back to Nursery and school (that can go back) because it's not safe and are quite fearful of catching Covid.

Yet they've all been paddling in the stream with other families, definitely not social distancing in our nearest big park and letting their children play with others!

A lot of people can be carriers and not have symptoms so they won’t know they have the virus and can be unwillingly transferring it

The justification for this seems to be that everyone has stayed in for two weeks, no symptoms so we can cuddle and touch again because we are OK 😕

Haha exactly all those parents whittling on that it’s unsafe for the kids to go back to school yet they have no issues taking them to packed beaches 😂😂

I'm quite into the tattoo scene and a lot of tattooers I follow on SM are desperate to get back to work, and have even fully booked themselves July-September as they expect to be back in july.

If I'd booked in with them I'd be furious and looking to cancel, so many where I'm from (south) have posted pictures with groups of friends on the beach drinking, no social distancing at all and sat right next to each other, someone visiting from BIRMINGHAM sat on the beach and staying with friends for the weekend?! We dont want you here!!

If they're so desperate to get back to work why are they not adhering to social distancing at least? They're the reason a second peak will happen and they'll be out of work even longer. They're in close proximity with clients all the time.

Sorry for the vent, nowhere else to do it and super frustrating when I live alone and dont have a garden and the beach would be my only outside option but it's full of dickheads 😭
Swear everyone on SM has forgotten theres a pandemic and using furlough as a holiday.

My mum works for the nhs and she’s getting her antibody test this week. I’m really curious to see the result as we were poorly as a family in jan with awful coughs and fatigue but no other symptoms.

I thought I was getting a chest infection back in Feb before anyone was really looking for signs. It only lasted a couple off days and never really "got going" but makes you think.

Be interesting to see what is said at tonights briefing regarding shielding. I'm suppose to be staying inside until 30th June at least but now they're saying we can go out one a day from tomorrow. What's happened overnight that now makes it safe? I should be happy but it's making me feel uneasy.

It could be because possibly that because of the r value is coming down , deaths and new infection cases are slowly coming down that those with certain health conditions who are at the lower end of the high risk people can start to venture out

We’ve not been told anything about it, I’m in Wales so maybe different procedures here? I’d 100% get one if offered.

I think we are now at the stage where more people are going to flout the rules because they have simply had enough of this.

They're letting us all out from what I can gather even those of us that are clinically extremely vulnerable
