Are we the first country to have our leader in hospital with it? It really shouldn't matter as a good government would be fine with the leader out of action, but the cabinet is just awful.
Anyone but RaabI think he wants to see it through too, hence my comment. But if he is poorly as the tabloids are leading us to believe, he needs to rest IMO. Whether that means handing over power temporarily or not. I don’t think the alternative Raab is ideal - I want to make that clearjust I think it’s ok if Boris needs to step back to recover.

Dr Alex who was on love island but who is also a Dr in A&E has been talking a lot on his YouTube channel about his work and says a lot of people that come into A&E with it just need some oxygen and can them go back home. Hopefully that’s all Boris needed plus I would say he needs rest. He’s carried on working not giving his body a chance to recover.Apologies if it’s already been discussed but does anyone know what further tests Boris would be having? Pneumonia, blood count etc?
I can’t help but feel they would have taken him to hospital as a real last resort and that his health must be in a real decline.. He would want to be viewed as strong and that the virus is easy to overcome. Heading to hospital is going to be seen as weak by those who aren’t already listening to the lockdown rules..

That doesn't mean anything, the law can and will be changed while trying to be as fair as possible to everyone. Same here, teachers I know are saying they're bored and on a rota so not at school much. My eldest keeps asking about nursery, she’s just that bit too young to fully understand what’s going on & I don’t want to worry or scare her by explaining anything in depth. I feel so sorry for her & I’ll be absolutely devastated if she doesn’t get to go back to nursery before she starts school in September.
