Couldn’t agree more!

A stark comparison to the earlier post by someone stating about the premier league footballers refusing to take a pay cut! They are a disgrace!

I really wish this would make people realise what is actually important - health, family, friends, freedom and knowledge!

Not consumerism, money and vanity!

If only it were true in the real world ..If the policeman Yel posted or Chris Witty turned up to take you to dinner who would be the winner ?

Boils my piss the way Gove says ‘covid’
Yes! It's more annoying than when Natasha bedingfeild was everywhere going on about hyper-bowl

I was going to attach a dead ringers podcast with gove being a little gossipy bitch, but my phone deletes old ones

I gave birth last week... have to admit I developed obsessive behaviours with cleaning, getting up in the night etc. The hospital were really good the midwives didn’t treat you any different but they did get you out as soon as you were able. Having been in three days with my other two with feeding issues it was really scary to have him at home the same day I had him. In terms of cleaning I’m still doing it but not to the same extent as I don’t have the time. I am terrified for him and very aware of my need to protect him so I’m not allowing anybody to see him or visits to the shop etc. We did take him for his first walk today as I figure fresh air is probably quite important!!!! And it was good to get out actually. But yes very scary I’m very tearful a lot of time as I feel the immense pressure to protect him. He’s not my first as I mentioned previously but there’s just something so fragile about a newborn.
ETA: when I say shop visits I mean allowing my husband to shop for essentials not taking my newborn into a shop! People are dropping stuff off for us if we need and I’ve got an online order in a couple of weeks.

My husband dreads Gove coming on the TV as I always start muttering dark things about what he has done to education in this country

Hmmm...I get what you are saying but it is different talking about someone you are physically attracted to and someone that can save your life.

I might prefer a footballer/Italian policeman to take me to dinner but if they are dull with no intelligence it will soon fizzle out.

And would I trust them to save my life against a killer virus? Probably less so than someone who has dedicated their life to the field of medicine.

Also my point was that I was hoping this would be an eye opener to people to stop judging a book by its cover but maybe that wasn’t very well articulated.

Also from Tesco:

We’ve already expanded our home delivery and Click+Collect capacity to around 780,000 delivery slots this week, up from 660,000 two weeks ago, with plans to increase this by another 100,000 in the coming weeks.

In the last 10 days, more than 35,000 new colleagues have joined Tesco, including pickers and drivers. The response to our call for new recruits has been incredible, with over 1 million visitors to our careers website.

I genuinely laughed out loud to myself last week wondering when I will wear ‘normal’ clothes again as well as knickers that aren’t 100% cotton and sagging at the arse (usually reserved for Aunt Flo)

hahahah, even when doing a workout, I am wearing granny pants under my leggings. Don't have to worry about VPL embarrassment when at home.

Completely agree! but I don't think we'd be interested in the policeman's brains

Is anyone else kinda counting in 2-week increments? It is now 20 days since I went to the grocery store and it was quite busy. I was waiting for it to be 2-weeks since I was there, I have no symptoms. We are now trying to only go grocery shopping every 2 weeks to minimise exposure. Sorry if I posted this already, I am losing track of what I say. Haha.

god isn’t this bloody amazing! We have our faults as a country but I’m proud to be here rather than other countries
It is amazing and in general I’m glad with the response by government and citizens - thinking of the huge number of people that signed up to volunteer for instance. But I must admit there is something about that temporary hospital and all those beds in that enormous aircraft hanger of a space that feels more apocalyptic than ever.
Worth also noting that it’s far from unique, Italy and Spain have organised a similar set up and the javitz centre in New York has been transformed too. States rights and strong governors meaning not everything is decided by the president are a saving grace for Americans right now.
China, too actually built two specialist hospitals in a fortnight. I remember thinking that was such a scary indication of the crisis there, I really can’t believe a month or so later what it’s come to.

Having my nightly cry on my own as my anxiety has spiked. I really do just live for the day we start seeing decreasing numbers and a ray of hope this is on it’s way out. Will that ever happen? It feels like it won’t

Sending anyone who needs one right now, a virtual hug xx

Its the daily mail... I wouldnt believe anything that they write unless it's also on BBC or Sky News.
Full of absolute nonsense.
Oh I know. It's been reported in other places too, though. I had a quick google.
They've named him too.
