Out of interest , I really hope someone can answer this. I have covid and today it seems to be getting worse not better . What happens when my isolation period finishes but I still feel like crap .
Do I test ???? If its positive still I go off again right ?? I was planning on doing a LF and a PCR 2 days before I'm due back . I've got 2 days off after my isolation ends but if I'm still unwell and testing positive I still have covid right ?
Track and trace say to continue isolating if you still have symptoms but ok to come out of isolation if you still have a cough or loss of smell and taste as they can take weeks/months to go back to normal

A mild cold that’s what Spector has been reporting for weeks on the ZOE app he’s wanted the symptom checker changed we’ve probably had it here a long time.

Two asymptomatic cases picked up in Oz that’s even more reassuring it’s may not be as bad as feared .

Ivor Cummins film released this week, and is a fascinating watch. His motto is 'Truth in Science'.

He has interviews with Professor's, credible Scientists, Dr's, a Nobel Prize winner; they look at and discuss the facts; that really have been censored from most people unless you went looking for it.

They discuss the virus, lockdowns, mask wearing and the vaccine. Interesting for those of who didn't know; the WHO published Pandemic Guidelines in 2019 for how to deal with a pandemic. Lockdowns, masks & school closures were all listed on that as having little to no affect on the curve of an influenza type virus.

It is behind a paywall as he self-funded it. The trailer is free to view.

🙂 okayyyyyyyyy,

but anyway,

Omicron sounds like a multi National oil company run by a CEO called Gaylord who have rocked up to the North Pole in search of oil, despite the fact bombing in that area might destroy Santa’s village and ruin Christmas for everyone.
And it's also an anagram of Moronic....

Judging by some comments on twitter we should all barricade ourselves inside our house for the foreseeable future 🤣

Social media…..

they’re taking out rights away, this piece of cloth over your mouth was planned by hitler and bill gates… together 😦 and anyone complying needs to baa like a sheep…”

“if you’re not vaccinated you’re the problem, I work 9 hundred hours a day for the NHS looking after you lot so bow down witches

“We need a full lockdown until 2023, cancel Easter eggs NOW before it’s too late”

sky news; begging for a lockdown.
BBC’s Andrew Marr, Boris please love me, peppa pig land IS bleeping amazing.

Getting tougher on testing

Mild cases so far
The secondary school stuff is a farce. My mum is in a school and it’s just a free for all. Children not testing at home, masks are supposedly mandatory yet few children or staff wear them as they can’t legally demand them being worn. It’s a disgrace.

I'm so glad you clarified as it was confusing me as well. 🤣
I thought the original post implied anyone who even visited anyone elderly shouldn't be socialising in pubs . It had me confused as the elderly themselves visit pubs and crowded cafes.

The flu and a cold are just as likely to kill me though?

Do you genuinely never leave your house whenever you had a cold prior to covid, until your cold cleared?

Im sorry, I just don't believe that you did.

I'm fed up of this faux innocent "I thought EVERYONE stayed home if they are unwell"
I remember in many workplaces , the culture was to drag yourself in being full of cold.

People only tended to stay at home , if they feel too unwell to be out and about.

Usually when I've had a cold or flu type virus I've started feeling unwell during the day ,like in my shift at work.

People can have the best intentions to avoid passing anything on , but nothing is foolproof.

But if masks were the wonderful things that people proclaim them to be then Germany wouldn’t be hit like they are, regardless of their extended lockdown.
Masks decrease transmission but it doesn't prevent it. Plus people are tired. Masks are mandatory where I live in public transport. But there are still a lot of people with their masks under their nose.

People are also less vaccinated in Germany and they got hit less at the beginning of the pandemic. Therefore there is a bigger reservoir of people with no immunity. Also it's wrong to say Germany was in lockdown this summer, it wasn't.

At the end masks are just a tool among others. It's an easy one to use because it doesn't prevent to move around but it's not a magical solution. Also the R of the delta variant is around 4 but countries badly hit at the moment only have a R around 1. It probably means the different tools of mitigation help a bit.

Good news, the omicron variant doesn't seem to be dangerous!

I think it’s only a requirement so they can’t really do anything about it but it’s unfair on teachers to have the responsibility of making sure the gov recommendations are carried out.

I’ll be honest with you, back in March 2020, I was bloody hysterical and anxious. This guy really helped put things into perspective for me and honestly, had a huge impact on my mental health and feeling less stressed about the whole thing

Me too. He's the total voice of reason and cuts right through the scaremongering and nonsense.

I found his videos particularly useful when I was obsessed watching the daily conferences. His stuff really made sense and made me chill the duck out. Stopped me bleaching my groceries and completely changing my clothes every time I left the house 🙄
