I think Gayle is supposed to be in her late 50s in the show and apparently is 2 years younger than Stephen. Real life ages are a bit mad though

I think he's a very good actor and one of the best on the programme. He and Roy were fantastic on stage in Waiting For Godot a few years ago.
I think the actor who plays Peter is a good actor as well (this Thorne storyline is awful though so that doesn’t help)
To say that he can’t act in a show that contains the likes of the following: Gemma, Sean, Brian, Kirk, Izzy, Chesney who are hardly the Laurence Oliviers of the soap world is insulting to Chris Gascoyne
