That's right didn't Jodie defend Bethany when Daniel was saying stuff to her in the bistro and Bethany completely forgot her suspicions and they became friends.
You can really tell I pay loads of attention when Jodie is on screen, and now they've paired her in scenes with the dreadfully dull misogynist Daniel I zone out even more.
She's at the hospital with Harper because she's the only family member that gives a tit about her.

David and Shona act nothing like parents with a sick baby in NICU.
It’s very weird. When my baby was in scbu they tried to get me to go home for a bit and there was no way I was going until my baby was going. You’d barely think they had a baby at all!! I get that they can’t be in the hospital 24-7 but I’d actually forgotten the baby existed until someone said something this week.
Precisely, every parent I’ve known with a newborn in scbu has been almost totally devoid of a life outside of the maternity hospital, and yes it’s very easy for us to forget that David and Shona actually have a sick prematurely born baby in hospital.
I've said it before, they should have had Shona have the termination and show the longer-term effects of having to make that horrendous decision if they were so intent on bringing Jodie in. Jodie has completely overshadowed whatever condition they were trying to bring attention to, I can't even remember what was wrong with Harper in the first place (some sort of tumour? was it cancer in the end? were we ever told?). Gail hasn't even popped over to see her, which is completely out of character. They didn't need to show her, just a line saying how nice it was she'd got to meet her. The whole storyline has been pointless.
I agree, as usual, too many subjects addressed poorly instead of doing some good day to day life stuff and doing one major issue well. It’s like bloody pinball, just pinging off one thing onto the next, with as much depth.
Swain is like a mosquito when you’re relaxing on a summer’s evening - a constant effing irritant that’s omnipresent!!! So sick of her and lobotomised Carla

She is. I think her and her brother (Jake) are talented kids but we hardly see him

The actors, apart from the long standers, seem to be on more casual contracts. Work them hard for a month of filming then they are gone for another two. Maybe that's why the story lines are so disjointed, often dont make sense. Meghans hair does crazy growing. Bethany arrives and sees through Jodie, then she's gone.
Jodie could simply just go. She brings nothing to the episodes.
Susie is the queen bee and even Maggie knows it!

Googly eyes taking over from Sarah! Susie ( the only ray of sunshine) and bryn fighting. Were these story lines dream up to give a few miserable lines to, Kirk, Izzy, Fizz, Chesney and googly eyes ( can’t remember his characters name).
