I admit I'm still slightly intrigued by Jodie and she could be interesting but my patience is wearing thin. They need to start putting some of the pieces together now. I have a niggling feeling that the pieces aren't actually supposed to fit together though and they're just throwing random stuff at her character to make her seem vaguely weird.
I agree they brought Jodie in for the crossover and maybe 'who is the victim' but now they seem they don't know what to do with the character apart from manipulating people with no redeeming qualities so hope she is gone soon.Though shout out to casting as Shona and Jodie are very similar.

My grandparents (northern) used to use the words cocker/rooster a lot so it doesn’t seem unusual to me. They also said ‘cossing’ to mean cursing or swearing.

Tonight's episode was a proper mess & the fact that Kirk, Izzy & Sean had to be bribed to do the jobs they're paid to do is ridiculous.
if they wanted to honour Craig then they could have shown some of them placing flowers on his grave or where he died, but no instead we got Kirk wearing some knickers on his head

Absolutely agree. If anything it was a clear indication the three of them can’t act and should be written out. Just absolutely ridiculous and so unbelievable that, that would take place in a workplace never mind a factory, never mind with the bosses there.

Sam is smaller than Summer. There is no way he could overpower Theo or knock him out with his fists of fire
Random but I always forget that Summer isn’t actually as young as she looks. The actress played a single mum of two kids seven years ago in Brassic and looked older then than Corrie styles her

I really wish Jodie would feck off. Her face literally never changes it's expression - just constantly blank with mouth hanging slightly open. And was it supposed to be a big reveal she was Truthteller when it was patently obvious from the start?
The writers have clearly gone full 'duck it' with Kirk, based on yesterday's factory nonsense and today's encounter with Tim outside Dev's. It's insulting to the actor and to the viewers.
And what a coincidence that, just as Todd is driving Summer to the airport, the police should block their way in the middle of the road (even though the police could have had no way of knowing there would be a car coming in the opposite director when the police car turned the corner right in the middle of the road!). That’s what I’ve thought previously, then they’ve got an obvious future Kit/Sarah break up storyline when he finds out.
Also there's also no way Carla of old would let them just prat around on her dime and have to promise them free drinks to do their actual jobs. And where were Sally and Fiz? There's barely ever a full work force in the factory.
Jodie bores me, and you're right about her and her singular facial expression. Where's Bethany gone? I thought she was onto Jodie?
They became friends, but I’m not sure if she was playing her. I don’t think Bethany’s smart enough for that though
