That was weird too. The writing is a mess. It's virtually incoherent at this stage.
They're all being remarkably eager to help the investigation of who murdered their friend/family member's evil abuser. The writers have tried to make it obvious that George is very honest (saying the blood on his jumper was Theo's because he had nothing to hide) but as if he would say anything that might incriminate his friend's orphaned daughter.

Also Kit mentioned a while ago they had some other evidence, did anything else get mentioned about that? I don’t recall it being mentioned when she was being questioned again?

I remember reading an interview with a Corrie producer who said Megan would get justice “of a sort.” Why would they say that if she were getting the normal sort of justice (prison)? I reckon Sam will go mad with terror and attack her and that will lead to her death! Just a theory..
