It is really unnatural and very fake how he uses it and his accent is awful. As I said before it used to be a very natural greeting where I lived until maybe the 70's - hey up rooster/cocker - in Yorkshire and also in parts of Lancashire but his use of it is awful.

I moved to Nottingham and ey up me Duck became the local greeting - which I hated from then until now because my FIL said it to me every time I met him .

Maybe they had her back, after her contract had finished, to re-film certain scenes? I can’t see why else she would be allowed to change her hair in the middle of filming such a major storyline.
