I’m really not looking forward to tomorrow’s episode. I mentioned before that this storyline helped me realise an abusive situation I was in, but now it’s got to the stage where it’s word for word Theo doing what he did etc. (apart from last night) but I feel like I have to see this story through to the end, hopefully there’s a positive outcome.

(The police have extended bail in my case, and don’t have much hope of a conviction anyway)

I didn’t mean to me-rail, but I just think that it’s definitely raised awareness I just really really hope they don’t fuck it up now.

Absolutely loved the scenes of Todd going back to No 11. Mary being so genuine and sweet. George wrapping himself around Todd. Great scenes.

I honestly think introducing George Shuttleworth was the best thing Corrie have done in years. An amazing character played brilliantly by Tony Maudsley.

Whoever came up with the Debbie and dementia storyline should be sacked. She's one of the best characters on the street and she's really good with Ronnie.

I don’t usually comment on these threads but I do lurk and have been watching the Todd/theo story line as it’s close to my heart.
It was 6 years as of yesterday that I finally had the courage to leave my abusive partner.

Despite the fact they interviewed him while he was quite severely injured (wouldn’t happen like that) the episode was 👏🏼 especially the back end with Lisa speaking about how hard it is to leave.
I really hope this storyline helps others who maybe experiencing abuse and find the courage to leave

I'm not being funny but if i was giving my mate 'a running away kit' I'd like to think I'd stick more than 20 quid in the wallet

Have to laugh at Theo following Todd on the map app thing like a manic tourist when Todds entire life revolves around 5 buildings max, all within 20 yards of each other 🤣🤣

I really want Theo to be dealt with within the proper way & go to prison for his abusive behaviour. But before that happens, I would love for Gary Windass to beat the absolute shit out of him. I think there’s only Gary that’s the man for the job. He makes my skin crawl.

Daniel is gonna be madly in love and in a full blown relationship with Jodie before the weeks out isn't he?

Watching tonight's, I keep thinking how lucky Todd is to have so many friends who deeply care about him. I wonder how many people irl find that their friends just give up on them, thanks to the manipulation of the abuser.

Is Maria as thick as she looks? 🤣 If my fella took me to a surprise wedding where the surprised party looked terrified, I wouldn’t be sat there clapping like a seal

Christina has slotted in so well next to George. To think we put up with miserable Eileen, she has been no miss.

Why can't they just leave Sam to be the geeky, intelligent character that he plays so well. But no, he'll have mental health struggles and fail his exams. They did the same storyline with Summer.

The super intelligent kids and kids who work really hard really do sometimes pass all their exams with flying colours in real life!

I love Ronnie too, I think him and Debbie would have been cracking in the Rovers with Glenda. I hate this storyline 😢

Would they really have just let Todd go on his merry way from the police station when they could see the physical pain he was in from his injuries? Surely he would have been sent to/escorted to the hospital by the police to get checked out, as further evidence if nothing else? Not leave it all up to wee Sarah to get him there.

Aside from that, amazing ep. I have a stone cold, dead heart (unless it's animals, babies or the worst, baby animals) and I had a little cry at all his loved ones reactions. It shows how important a support network is.

Adored how George instantly stood himself between Theo and Todd to protect Todd 🥹🥹
I welled up when he did that! Tony Maudsley was doing some fantastic acting, the realisation/anger/hurt on his face when he slowly came out of the bathroom was amazing. Gareth Pierce has been playing a blinder too, especially the smile that never reached his eyes during the wedding.
