I can just hear her ‘oh Daddy Bear, we need to get you some nutrients and vitamins from fresh vegetables, that will heal your foot’.
BTW, I’ve eaten a raw carrot many a time.
Is that emoji because of my raw carrot 🥕 eating 🤣?
Or because of CM?

🤣🤣🤣🤣 CM! I could just imagine her saying it.

For the record we’re fans of raw carrot here. Even the dog gets one a day.

Only one milk drinker though as the other child is allergic. But I do see the appeal of cold milk.

duck all wrong with his foot. He was examined in custody & there was no medical impairment found. Another delusion just like pretending they never killed their child.

I think that people have suggested that CM and MG’s delusional beliefs regarding SS could possibly be used as a reason, or even mitigation, for their actions (I’m maybe wrong in thinking that), but pweados often choose to convince themselves to believe that they’re not harming children, and in fact what they’re doing is somehow ‘natural’.
How are CM and MG’s crazy ant-SS beliefs any different in terms of mitigation?
It’s not necessarily just their beliefs, it’s the whole thought or mental process behind it.

In the example you use, part of sentencing would require some form of counselling/rehabilitation, along with signing of the SO register.

In the case of SS, some could argue that they haven’t a good reputation and breaking up families is against certain principles, some say that they don’t act fast enough.

IMO an anti SS stance is totally difficult to those who view child censored material.

Even the footage of them and the way they are with the police shows they only care about themselves. How people are still trying to spin it as a misunderstood couple fleeing with their baby out of love and wanting to be together as a family unit is beyond me. They just wanted to stick two fingers up at any form of authority. Most people who were caught at this point after being on the run so long and their child being dead would be overwhelmed with emotion whether tears anger anything- they just calmly argued their case why they shouldn’t be arrested and talked about wanting to eat. They are not people capable of loving and protecting another human
Are you talking about this thread, because I haven't seen a single person try to spin it that way.

I’ve listened to the podcast today, I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing particularly when the officer was asking MG if his baby was dead and he replied one time saying how good the crisps were!
They both deserve to be locked up for a very long time, that poor poor baby. They showed her no love and respect in life or in death. I hope she’s in a better place now and can rest in peace 💔

In the case of CM and MG the legitimacy of their anti-SS stance has been totally negated by the outcome for their unfortunate 5th child.

I want to know what he did!

Did you see in one of the reports yesterday, he was in a wheelchair for interview but lay on the floor because he was ‘in pain’ so they said fine, carry on the interview with him on the floor. Brilliant.
My first thought was that MGs leg injury was through him injecting drugs and his leg was ulcerated which in my head could also explain the chaotic way they were living but there’s been no evidence of this and if there had I’m sure it would’ve been discussed by now?

The police officer said he been seen by a nurse and she said there was nothing wrong with him.
I can only imagine the condition of his feet after so long without being washed and likely with the same socks on for several weeks.... the socks were probably stuck onto his skin

The really warped thing is that there will still be so many people who see it as SS and police fault for ‘taking away’ their children, and that will strengthen their resolve to run and hide.

Yes , this is unfortunately true. Some people have incredibly limited self awareness.

The prosecution would totally use an addiction if they could, it does seem that there was nothing. All the people who spoke to them too - the two people who gave lifts after breakdown and fire, the recovery guy, taxi drivers, hotel staff - if there was a sniff of drugs they’d be all over it

This. I’m so fed up of posters on this thread whinging that any discussion about MG & CM that isn’t “evil baby killers string them up” is excuse making/ excusing them/ defending them/ justifying their behaviour. What’s the point in even the thread if that’s all you want to say.

He was examined by a nurse. Whilst nurses do a good job at patching people up, they are not diagnosticians. There was something clearly wrong with his foot because he was limping in cctv and using a stick.

Because people like ‘echo chambers’. It reinforces their thinking.

I mean, also, I don't think a single person on this thread isn't in agreement that CM and MG are completely neglectful, unfit parents and they deserve to be put away for what they did.

Looking at reasons as to why they did what they did doesn't mean anyone is justifying or excusing.

Oh, I agree, but there will be discussion on those circumstances and whether the outcome would have been the same if the search for them had a lower profile.

The above is exactly the point MGs counsel made at the opening of the trial.

And with all the walking, in all weathers. Probably blistered up. Lord knows how she managed to walk so much straight after birth and carrying heavy bags or a baby.

He was clearly limping in their first court appearance when he was shown getting out of the van.

But there was an element of power too no doubt.

This just cements in my mind that it was all about them, getting their own way, doing what they wanted, them being in control and poor baby Victoria was just collateral damage. The officers asking about baby and he’s all “she’s dead, what about meeeeee” 🤢
