If there is a God, then I hope that anyone who has made a decision like this, and the people that have agreed with it are instead greeted with the firey doors of hell.

You're hearing more and more aren't you. My husband walked in on a colleague crying last week and he said he'd just had news that a family member had been found dead. He was early 50s, no health issues, but had the vaccine 2 weeks earlier.
Who knows if it's that, a PM will be done no doubt so I'm hoping we'll find out.

It's strange that in the first few months of covid it was hard to find someone who even knew anyone that had the virus, never mind had it themselves. With the vaccines everyone knows someone who has had a serious side effects or suddenly passed away though

I spoke to my manager last week and said that I'm unlikely to get the second one after my reaction. I've apparently got a 66% - 80% protection from severe disease now, and considering my chances were already good before that, then I'm not seeing the point of risking the second dose. Thankfully she agreed, but what will happen when these IDs come in and its mandatory for work I have no idea

i really can't see them making it mandatory to be vaccinated for work, they would have to change so many laws on discrimination and equality

Why do you think she is getting it early, she is in her 40's isn't she? You can also be put on a list for callups when they have no shows at appointments, i know someone in their 30s who had one this way

I don't know who they are but I do know that because the vaccines are experimental/still in trial/not approved, that they can't run adverts for it so they are paying celebrities to push it, giving the media grants etc to push it. Thats why its celeb/media overkill with zero adverts on tv/radio.

I've seen the video clip of him telling the photographer to hurry up and take the bleeping picture. I love the thought of him dropping the F bomb in front of The Queen in private I wonder if they told each to F orrf like every single other husband and wife

However - firstly the government are looking into how to overcome this. Secondly if it doesn't come in then there's nothing stopping employers moving front facing staff to non facing rolls. I can't really do that in my job, but with every single company out there skint after the passed year redundancy is another option they have. You can't even argue it either because you'll never have proof that your redundancy was offered for not taking the jab.
There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Even changing your job role due to not being vaccinated would be discrimination and would get your employer in trouble. i really don't think employers want to open themselves up to any more litigation than they are already at risk of. The covid passports to an employer are more risky than it is worth

Also for a vaccine to be mandated at work it must be a mandatory vaccine in general across the population, this would take many years of law changes and many MPs would vote against that

I think the threat to public health would over rule this ,especially the impact on the economy that would take precedence over everything imo.

No it isn't. I've had my JD changed - not for covid, just because we're reshuffling how the company works. It's easily done and not discrimination because you have chance to read your JD and discuss any changes and where you think you might not do so well in. Discrimination would be if you told your employer your weakness and they didn't offer support or training then sacked you for not performing.
They don't have to say your role is changing because of not taking the vaccine, companies change roles all the time.
It's much the same as not being offered a job because you're pregnant is Discrimination, but it happens - like with vaccinations/ redundancy/ roles changing - you just can't prove it

I read this this morning, went into the bathroom a little while later and the clock i have in there is a radio controlled time/weather/date clock.

the time was 7.11. The date is obviously the 11th
The temperature was 11.01 degrees
Not gonna lie now, I did a double take and thought “that thread is bleeping with your brain ooh”
