So I've just received an email from my daughters school saying that we're not allowed to bring in any sweets or treats for birthdays because of allergies. I understand nut allergies can be extremely serious but I don't remember any of this when I was at school. Is it me or are allergies increasing in children? There must be a cause.

“Nobel Laureate Charles Richet demonstrated over a hundred years ago that injecting a protein into animals or humans causes immune system sensitization to that protein. Subsequent exposure to the protein can result in allergic reactions or anaphylaxis. This fact has since been demonstrated over and over again in humans and animal models. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) confirmed that food proteins in vaccines cause food allergy, in its 2011 report on vaccine adverse events. The IOM’s confirmation is the latest and most authoritative since Dr. Richet’s discovery. Many vaccines and injections contain food proteins. Many studies since 1940 have demonstrated that food proteins in vaccines cause sensitization in humans. Allergens in vaccines are not fully disclosed. No safe dosage level for injected allergens has been established. As a result, allergen quantities in vaccines and injections are not regulated. Allergen quantities in vaccine excipients are also not regulated. It has been demonstrated that a smaller quantity of allergen is needed to cause sensitization than elicitation. It is well recognized that many currently approved vaccines have enough allergen to cause anaphylaxis. Therefore, they contain more than enough allergen to cause sensitization. Children today have fewer childhood infectious diseases. They have less exposure to helminths. C-section birth rates have increased in the last few decades by 50%. C-section births are known to result in sub-optimal gut micro biome in the newborn. All the above result in an immune imbalance biased towards atopy. Vaccine schedules today include 30-40 shots. Up to five shots may be simultaneously administered in one sitting. Vaccines contain adjuvants such as pertussis toxins and aluminum compounds that also bias towards allergy. Adjuvants also increase the immunogenicity of injected food proteins. This combination of atopic children and food protein injection along with adjuvants, contributes to millions developing life-threatening food allergies. Given the scale and severity of the food allergy epidemic, urgent action is needed to change vaccine policy concerning vaccine specifications, manufacture, vaccine package insert documentation requirements, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and the National Vaccine Injury compensation program. Many researchers have called for the removal of food proteins from vaccines and re-evaluation of adjuvants such as aluminum compounds. In the interim, food allergy warnings can be included in vaccine package inserts. Simultaneous administration of multiple vaccines can be stopped to avoid the combined negative effects of multiple food proteins and adjuvants.”

Many allergies can be serious and places have become more aware/on top of things in recent years. I’ve worked in school and early years settings and it was normal to ask parents/carers not to bring in sweets/cakes from home due to possible cross contamination as well as not knowing how people handle their food in their home kitchen.

I thought it may connected to vaccines. I've declined my daughters flu nasal spray this year as last time she had it, she was really sick after. I just don't think all of these vaccines can be healthy for the bodies immune system.

I know that many vaccines are developed in egg, dairy and peanut oil. ( not thinking too great today snotty kids gave me a cold)

I know normally right after flu mist time come rotavirus time. ( very similar symptoms )

We used to keep the kids off at that time. as the fuss, the school made of those having the vaccine was a bit sickening.

Same. They had all their vaccines and flu vaccines up until 2020 when I declined the flu nasal spray after becoming more aware of the world and the corruption. Now they will not be having anymore flu sprays or vaccines. My husband is a bit 🤔 but he knows I have done more research than him and previously wasn't "anti-vax🙄", I was programmed and ignorant. Recently been asked on 2 of my childrens trip forms if they have received their tetanus jab. I said "up to date with all current vaccines" as I genuinely had no idea if they had or not! I had no idea what I was sticking in them. Just had blind faith in men in suits and white coats. Well not anymore, thats probably the only good thing to come from all this, the great awakening. Absolutely no more vaccines. Over my dead body. Autism is through the roof not to mention the placebos in trials aren't saline but they are a different vaccine or have aluminium (an irritant) in them to bias the trail. Also the way they measure the Absolute and relative risk reduction. Also the way they bring jabs out looooong after the virus/disease has gone! They are full of metal, metal that travels to the brain and that is seen in alzheimer patients. Thats scratching the surface, the whole thing stinks!

Allergies are definitely increasing in children! It’s not that we’re getting better at diagnosing them as we are not - according to experts! It’s a combination of things, But don’t just trust me - trust the BBC 😂 one theory is whether your gut is encountering different types of microorganisms, with increasing rates of caesareans and over prescribing of antibiotics the gut just doesn’t have enough of the bacteria it needs to educate the immune system to respond appropriately!

Yes I feel the same way. So much has opened my eyes since Covid. I don't like to think all vaccines are bad and some have definitely been developed for the right reasons. It's just trying to decipher which vaccines are right for us. There are definitely more childhood issues than there ever was before. I also think it's closely related to the sterile environments children are brought up in as well. Children are not allowed to be dirty anymore and I think this negatively impacts their immune systems. I've always made sure my children are encouraged to play outside in the dirt and allow them to eat something if it's been on the floor. It all plays a huge part in them building their immune system.

HA HA I'll definitely make sure to listen to what the BBC has to tell me......NOT 😂

I have allergies. 1 medicine and 2 foods. Immin my 30s and it was very new to my school. I was the only pupil with allergies at the time I joined. Staff has to have a number of special meetings and training.
I think numbers have definitely increased significantly since the 90s and earlier and is a lot more common. I have wondered if it's vaccine related but it could be gentics, will never know I suppose

I think a lot of it is to do with how over medicalised society has become. I think in the future they will be even more common as antibiotic resistance happens and births have more and more interventions and people have more and more unnecessary medical treatments it all leaves the gut very vulnerable and 80% of the immune system is in the gut. Years ago if people had a sore throat or a cough they’d of just ploughed on - now it’s a course of antibiotics and 2 weeks off work. Women are encouraged and almost expected to give birth in a hospital and births in hospitals are far more likely to require medical intervention than home births, especially for women with low “risk” factors. Modern medicine can be good but like anything when too much of something it becomes a detriment.

Also the antibiotics in the meat we eat and water we drink...

And Aluminium is in most deodorants that are sprayed under the arm and into the lymphatic system.

Yep even when we don’t take them we’re absolutely still consuming them! Even how we store our food and how our food is packaged from plastics to metals etc.

Pfizer whistleblowers...

That doesn’t exactly require a whistleblower, it’s a fact but the vaccine aims to stop you getting super sick. After watching some people get really ill with it they are glad to have good antibodies now but didn’t make up for ending up in hospital. It’s a while since I read about it but I looked up why some countries vaccinate against chicken pox and others don’t and if I remember correctly it was due to natural antibodies from having the illness as a child were better later on in life

Getting everyone used to the new normal heart conditions in children. Soon like cancer, no one will be able to remember a time when it was rare.

SAD has always been a thing, it just wasn’t picked up until someone just randomly died. The charity CRY offer free screenings, a friend of a friend lost a child this way. If he had been screened he could of had a small surgery as a child and lived a normal life rather than dropping dead age 15 while playing football

edit SAD as in sudden adult death not depression related to sun light

researchers havent found the answer as to why but better hygiene plays a role with gut bacteria. I hope they figure it out soon as it’s increasing so much

I know anaphylactic allergies have increased a lot but I wonder if kids with things like dairy allergies years ago just weren’t diagnosed. How many of those failure to thrive babies who died might of survived with dairy free formula. I found reading about the generation of ‘banana babies’ interesting, again how many kids died from gluten issues without it being understood

Experts conclude that we aren’t getting better at diagnosing allergies, we’re more aware of them but we aren’t better at diagnosing them. Looking at data from multiple peer-reviewed sources, the rate of food allergies worldwide has increased from around 3% of the population in 1960 to around 7% in 2018. As well as them being on the rise, they range much broader.

Better hygiene is an outdated theory that contradicts modern research, the gut bacterium needs to encounter more microorganisms which is declining due to a range of things such as baby’s being born via Caesarian so they aren’t getting that essential bacteria from the birth canal, antibiotic overuse from the food we eat and the over prescribing wipes out all the good and bad bacteria so the gut is then very vulnerable and because the gut holds 80% of the immune system it puts it in a weak position when encountering an allergen. There’s a lot more research to be done but it’s fascinating when you look at the research that is available.

I read the same article that you quoted, and was surprised we aren’t better at diagnosing them, then again from those I know with allergies and the nhs who treated them maybe I’m not surprised!

I think it’s more people think/believe they have a food allergy when they don’t it’s actually just an intolerance, testing for a food allergy is pretty straight forward, everyone’s entitled to a second opinion in the nhs so worth remembering that if you or someone you know does feel like they aren’t getting the best treatment you can seek out advice from someone else

I’ve always understood it like this. People say “so many more people are intolerant to gluten/diary now compared to when I was young” (as an example) when really there was probably the same amount of people with the conditions it was just never diagnosed and those people may have died as babies or just through poor health as adults since, for those with coeliac disease for example, you can develop serious medical conditions if you don’t follow the recommended diet.

I have coeliac disease and went to my GP at the age of 11 with chronic mouth ulcers. I was also underweight. GP told my mum I was probably anaemic but refused to do any blood tests. He said the ulcers were hormonal and I would grow out of them. Ten years later I was diagnosed with the help of my dentist. It’s still such a misunderstood and underdiagnosed condition today.

I think it’s great that schools are discouraging parents from sending in food for the whole class for birthdays etc. It not only is safer (less cross contamination risk) but also means no one is left out because of their allergies. Not all parents would think to send in a gluten free cupcake so the child with coeliac disease can also take part.

Just when you thought Australia couldn't get any more covertly evil they've come up with "Wellcamp".

"Enjoy your (enforced) stay at "Wellcamp", it must be great, it even has a lovely sunshiney name!"

All the artists impressions are missing are watch towers, searchlights, barbed wire, and barking alsatians. The dystopian future is becoming real.

FFS Australia what have you become.

A fair number on this forum, believe that people who don't take the vax don't deserve to have any treatment or jobs or anything come to that. if we are no longer allowed to buy food, they will cheer that as well. The same people will be very triggered at any mention of Anne frank and who her friends would have been.

I believe covid has shown us the truth of so many people. It's been an eye-opener for sure. I didn't think it could be done so fast.

The experts have said they aren’t better at diagnosing and that they are actually increasing. They agree the immune system plays an important role so it’s plausible to assume a linkage to vaccination, antibiotics, and under exposure to bacteria.

it’s awful that happened to you, it sounds like you could of benefited from a second opinion at that time but at the same time it’s not that we have got better at diagnosing - according to the experts, but that they are actually more prevalent. From 3% to 7% is a huge jump so we really couldn’t attribute that to under diagnosis.

I agree no child should have to feel left out when treats are shared amongst the class same goes for children who follow vegan diets etc they’re often forgotten at birthday parties and social events. My daughters class allows treats brought in but her class has no known allergies or dietary requirements and she loves having parties in school so hopefully it’ll stay that way ha.
