The one question I have is why Colleen waited to go to the hospital. She knew the twins were breech and she waited like 45+ minutes? Poor Maisy was purple when she came out, they should have bolted to the hospital the moment her water broke. That is my only criticism with the twins. I cannot imagine how she’d feel if one of them didn’t make it because she wanted to video herself doing things like her hair and makeup. Erik should have been adamant about getting to the hospital ASAP. Thank God they are ok. Colleen alluded in the last podcast that progress is slow but looks like they’ll be fine.

Oh, because don’t you know? She HAD to straighten her hair! And if her husband didn’t take a picture she was going to divorce him!

She is absolutely insane and so self centered. She knew the risks. The fact that she could still laugh while telling that story is so weird and horrible in my opinion. It’s awful.

I don’t want to come down hard on her-it’s over and done and things turned out OK- that’s the most important thing. I know twin pregnancy wasn’t easy for Colleen, she was stressed and probably had pregnancy brain and wasn’t thinking clearly, she also had Flynn to take care of- not easy.
I guess I’m just extra sensitive because my sister was a full term stillborn. You can’t mess around with labor and delivery. Anything can happen to mother and baby.

I am also so happy the babies are safe, but it just makes me mad because she knew the risks and still took her time. She literally said in multiple videos that the doctor was mad at her and thinking she was insane for having not left for the hospital yet. Any doctor would tell her how high risk she was, and they did. She really put her babies at risk. Thankful everyone turned out safe though.

That's one of my questions but another is why with hindsight did she feel compelled to share that footage of her delaying her departure to the hospital and joking about it knowing her babies were in distress? I think we know the answer, for views. It's highly irresponsible to promote such behaviour as entertainment, these were her babies' lives at stake, it wasn't a comedy show.

I used to think Rachel was the likeable one but on her recent podcasts and interactions she has been so cold and rude, she seems like a deluded a tbh. She really thinks her family are levels above anyone else and cannot take any criticisms or honesty.

So, she's complaining that the nurses have asked her to spend more time with the babies. And she's all "I have work!!! I have to leave Flynn!!!", when the nurses actually suggested Erik and her could come in shifts. Or you know, she's gonna ask her mom for childcare anyways, why not start now?
She could take a small break from YouTube and focus on her freaking preemies that are STILL in the NICU, but I guess making money is more important.
Must feel like a blow to her 'amazing motherhood skills' that the nurses brought that up since no one has ever said out loud, to her face, that oh so grand Colleen is doing something wrong.

It was disgusting. I don’t think anyone in their right mind will think “ oh my membranes ruptured at 32 weeks how normal “ and proceed playing… AND posting it afterwards, if the first could be maaaaybe explained by lack of understanding, second is just atrocious.

More so her crying how nurses ask her to spend time with her own babies… I just can’t. Why she thinks everything is revolving around her??? She’s so unfit to be a mother, it’s just scary… And Erik is a happy go lucky man-child who is still figuring out what is he doing there… besides spending her money of course.

I can’t imagine what the lives of these babies are going to be like. Their self-absorbed “mother” (I seriously cringe thinking she’s one) will use them as money-making machines while simultaneously hating that they take the spotlight away from her… Mother-daughter jealousy is 100% on the way (who’s the skinnier is important, you know), Flynn is fully UNprepared so he’d probably have ton of mental issues… It would have been funny if it wasn’t sad.

She's an insult to all the parents who genuinely struggle to take a spare second to see their babies because of all the life commitments they have. She literally has an army sized family at her beck and call and more than enough money. She has no excuse for not being there other than her own greed.

The nurses are probably sick of seeing them rock up, film things and then leave. If the nurses really felt the need to say something that's not them "judging her", it's them doing their job and recommending something because they feel it would benefit her and her babies bond and everyone's wellbeing. Imagine being those nurses and seeing the title of that video and how hurt you'd be to see someone twisting your good intentions and professionalism into some drama for clickbait

Again it all comes back to Flynn....she could possibly spend more time at the hospital because of Flynn but actually he would be fine with Kory and his grandparents and it's a small price to pay if it means the twins come home and they back together as a family as soon as possible. She is lucky to have the family support and neither of them have to go out to work so even if one of them was a home with Flynn and one at the hospital then they have it covered

work? she’s self employed!!! if she had a contract with a company then she’s allowed maternity leave. if by work she means the vlogs? then why doesn’t she stop vlogging daily then!!

an example of a youtuber who seems to be putting her baby first is zoella, who recently put a instagram post saying that she isn’t doing vlogmas this year because she wants to enjoy her babies first christmas with the pressure of recording and editing daily. now zoellas no angel (who definitely milked her pregnancy for views) but the only major thing she’s released since her daughters birth in august is a book, maybe colleen should take notes and stop the daily vlogs and the podcasts. especially if her babies health is on the line.

A lot of the comments on the video are from nicu nurses are saying when babies are being prepped to go home they like the parents to come in for 24hr prep time to learn and be comfortable doing everything a premie baby needs and to get them feeding, changing nappies, doing a feeding tube if needed. And that it’s not judgemental.

She just always seems to find a way to twist everything. At the end of the day, they don’t work, she doesn’t have to film a video everyday, when she does film she doesn’t even edited and post it herself, she has a nanny (or is getting one), her parents basically live with her, her “best friend” is basically her housekeeper and assistant, her husband isn’t currently working, Finn sleeps at night, he really could use socialising with other children. They could easily spend more time at the hospital and it’s insulting to those who can’t afford to spend all their time at the hospital, who don’t have help, who are stressed about childcare and medical bills. I am firmly against anyone telling someone they have it easy because others have it harder because people can cope with different things and I don’t believe in minimising someone’s struggle and I’m not saying she didn’t have a hard pregnancy and birth and having premies in the nicu isn’t hard. BUT, Colleen has 0 self awareness and she constantly is pushing this she has it the hardest narrative. She’s just out of touch and because she’s the family cash cow, and without her none of them would have a career to be honest, everyone just feeds into the narrative.

I've not watched the latest video yet but if it was me I'd be at the hospital more than I'd be at home.

Yes it would be rough on Flynn to start but while his grandma was there and his dad he'd have been fine.

I'd assumed that they just had set hours for visiting them.

I’m actually appalled at her slating the nurses like that. They are the people who have kept her babies alive, cared and nurtured them, and she’s dragging them on YouTube. She doesn’t have to work right now either. She must be is well off money wise and can take some time off. She’s just so worried about becoming irrelevant that she’s still uploading.

If you said "no Colleen, they're doing their job and it's your warped perception of the situation" then she'd be annoyed, and if you said "yes you're right they are judging you Colleen" she'd be annoyed. Why is she sharing this type of thing publicly, just for views at the expensive of the nurses' feelings

Is she really putting the organisation of a charity stream that needn't be done right now at this moment before her own children's needs? It's money that makes her world go round, not her family apparently

In the UK due to COVID, your partner is only allowed with you for two hours after the birth and can only then visit one hour per day. I’m having a baby any day now and am TERRIFIED and so upset of doing the first days of motherhood alone without my partner. The fact that she could spend more time with her kids and chooses not to literally infuriates me.

I want to know what have they actually done with the babies apart from sit and read. Do they know how to wash and change them and work the feeding apparatus? Why aren't they there for every feed? Why can't she pump there? It seems like she's got a million excuses but really she's just content doing the bare minimum because it means she can have more time to do what SHE wants, like go to restaurants and markets and shops etc (even though she's "the only person taking quaranting seriously in the world anymore" just girly things )

I think her filming herself giggling while straightening her hair as her water has broke at 32 weeks with twins says it all about where her priorities are at. I can't actually believe women are praising her, she is not a good role model and she and Erik are not spending enough time with her babies and it would seem the NICU nurses agree.
