Chris and Jessica(? give me such cultish vibes
They like to act wholesome, but when you look closely you see the cracks and actually realise how wrong using their kids for their source of income is. Chris may have married his high school sweetheart, but I suspect that he is in the closet about being gay.

I was getting that vibe too. He could just have, whats considered as, very feminine traits. But from his family history of being extremely religious and he, himself and his wife who are also still religious, I’d say he’d never even consider it an option, even if he was

IN colleen’s poop explosion video why does no one tell Flynn to pipe down when he is literally shouting and barking commands at Moose? Absolute cat behaviour

I wonder if a lot of Chris's mannerisms come from being the eldest child with a brother with disabilities. He's very good at describing & has vast swathes of patience. He's a lot like his dad and very handy, in the same way that Rachel is they're just more logical in their lives. Then there's Colleen who probably couldn't hold down a proper job if her life depended on it. Although that would be a day in the life video I could get behind Colleen stacks shelves in Walmart, folds towels in Bed, Bath & Beyond, serves candle drinks in A.N. Other Coffee Shop.

Yes, Chris is a very sweet and patient father. :)

I'm really worried about these kids' futures if they will be only homeschooling all of them. I doubt you can socially develop that much as a person if the only people you interact with is the family you've known since birth. Or maybe I'm just being ignorant since the concept of homeschooling is so foreign to me.

I see everyone talking about Chris and Jessica and the homeschooling - there’s a thread on here for them too! We’re talking about this right now too because Bailey just got accepted into a public school for her freshman year.

Anyone remember when Colleen answered a question in a vlog about homeschooling Flynn? She said she wouldn’t be and that “she doesn’t think she is the best person to teach her children”… She might of even mentioned that there are professionals who are trained to do that but I could be imagining that?

Idk why that felt like a subtle dig to me. 😂 Like either at Gwen for homeschooling her or at Chris and Jessica doing the same to their kids or both. She talks all the time about how weird she was bc of being homeschooled for a chunk of her childhood.

Does she realize she has three kids now? That she has to give attention to all three of them? She acts as if Flynn is still an only child.
I agree. Seems like she's experiencing cognitive dissonance about the entire situation. She tries to talk like she's a mother of three but her behaviour suggests it hasn't registered with her properly and that's understandable given how little time she spends with the twins. I know the nurses suggested she spent more time in the NICU with the twins to prepare for them coming home (according to her fans), but I'm not sure that's all it is. I think that experienced nurses in the NICU can identify when a mother hasn't sincerely bonded with their baby and I think they're trying to encourage that bond.

Yeah, I feel like the nurses would tell her the reason for why they wanted her to visit more- explaining it’s because the twins are closer to going home and spending more time with them will make the transition a little easier. Doesn’t sound like they were saying that to her though.

It will be a huge adjustment for sure when the twins come home. Doctors and close loved ones should be monitoring her for post partum depression too. Not saying she has it but lots of women hide it well. Colleen is crying all the time and very overwhelmed as it is. The sleep deprivation alone will be horrible when they get home- that’s it’s own form of torture. She needs to stay on top of her mental health.

And I just hope she bottle feeds-she should feel no shame in it, she doesn’t have to be like Jessica who I remember was adamant about breast feeding Luke and he finally did but I think she was a little too obsessed. Most mothers of twins go straight to the bottle. It’s just easier.

I hate how at the end of every vlog she says "I'll see you tomorrow, maybe not, I don't know" and not a day goes by that she doesn't vlog.

To think those sweet babies are a month old already and she still looks as if she is playing mom to them. Why didn't she just put down the camera and spend all the time she can with them and leave Gwen to look after Flynn which is what I expect she was staying with her for.

Also are the rules different in the US for driving after abdominal surgery? I wasn't allowed behind the wheel of a car for 6 weeks after I had a hernia op and that was only a small 1.5 inch incision.

Yeah what’s going on with her, she seems to be overly obsessed with Flynn’s care aka spoiling and the babies are in the end of her priority list.. I’m curious is that a sign of postpartum depression or other issues? Or just we observe a narcissist in action… I’m beyond confused.

For driving after surgery, there is no rule to my knowledge but it’s common sense…

I can't believe Flynn is so close to being 3 and still in diapers. He has so much communication skill now. At this rate Luke will be potty trained before him. At least Chris and Jess do parent properly and are putting him in all the classes he needs. If Luke were Colleen's kid I dread to think how delayed he would be.

My car insurance was void for 6 weeks after my surgery I had to get a letter to say I was fit to drive at 5 weeks as I'd finished mat leave & was due back at work. After 9 months off I thought a week of sick leave would be taking the piss.

It is pretty much up to you. 2-4 weeks is what I've been told when I have had surgery (not C-section, but appendix removal and it was pretty gnarly). I was driving 2 weeks after. It depends on painkillers too I guess. It is all 'we recommend you don't drive for two weeks blah blah blah'.

Did anyone see the disaster that was the live stream? Nothing worked apparently, and they had to restart. You could see she was getting angry and some people who even suggested the link was working for them she called "liars". 🙄. She needs to take some time off. They must have savings that will pay for the medical bills. If not Erik can sell his new unnecessary car for example.
