I don’t mind Christmas but I do find it stressful and actual Christmas Day is just spent cooking and loading the dishwasher. This year my brother and SIL arrived and decided not to parent their kids (4 and 2) so my mum and I had to cook for everyone and look after the children, we were exhausted by 7pm. Wouldn’t be so bad if they helped with the cooking or tidying up but they literally sat on the sofa all day and didn’t even offer to clear the table, we had to provide them with drinks etc. pissed me right off!
