Hello!

Just joining this thread for the first time. I love the build up to Christmas and also bargain hunting. I'm with Monzo and have already started a Christmas pot for this year 🎅

I cannot believe it’s May. It’s flown in. Halloween stuff will be out in shops before we know it 🤣

I’m so excited!! I’ve bought most of my presents (going on maternity leave in October and going to be broke so haven’t had a choice really!). I’m a massive autumn person, I hate summer with a passion so I find myself dreaming about pumpkins, cold weather, scarves, candles, dark nights and fairy lights.

The earliest I've seen Christmas decorations was towards the end of August.

Maybe July for Halloween stuff?
TK Maxx was June last year 🤩 I think once B&M, home bargains etc get rid of all their summer stock, they’ll put their autumn stuff out, then Halloween a few weeks later. Love it 🤩🤣

Same. I was thinking today it’s actually not long until the longest day, then the countdown to dark, cosy nights is on.

I’ve started my autumn stock for my craft fairs and will start xmas stock in a couple of weeks. Feels early but I started in July last year and had a right rush on 🤣

Love this. Do you know what you’re making? I think people buy earlier every year because the popular shops like HB, B&M, TKMaxx sell out and don’t restock. Plus everyone mostly decorates much earlier now so need their stuff earlier.

I have a list of hanging decorations/garlands/wreaths from last year but also want to spend some time making some new bits and see what works! And yeah that’s so true! My first Christmas market was beginning of November last year and I remember hearing someone say it was too early, like you’re at a Christmas market what do you expect 🤣 I don’t tend to do any after the first week/week and a half of December as I make decorations and by then people are usually all set up!

I hate summer too! Far too hot, can’t sleep and of course the wasps! Can’t wait for autumn 🍂!

Can anyone recommend a good coffee machine. When my husband asks me what I want I want to say a good coffee machine but I want to do research so I'm asking everyone else because I have no idea. Are there coffee machines you can use any pods for or is it same brand same pods and how the heck do they work

It also depends on your budget. I got a L'or machine bundle that came with loads of pods and does the job, same as any fancy Gaggia machine, especially with such minimal counter space.

We have had about three different machines. We are currently on L’or. We love it
