Tik Tok: Top 100 2024 ITV Christmas Eve.
Hilarious - nearly wet myself laughing so much, especially at the ones in the forties which is as far as I got before the urgent dash to the loo.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I already have 3 Christmas presents sorted for next year form the boots sale and a birthday present which will be a regifted Christmas present (wine)

I've done all my birthday and xmas shopping for 2025 🤷‍♀️

Nobody mocked me in lockdown when they couldn't get tit 😎🤣
I've mostly done mine as well. Got one Xmas gift to do but probably will be a bottle of alcohol so I'll get that closer to Christmas. The only other birthday/Christmas gifts I need will be a spa voucher and probably a massage voucher so they'll just be done online anyway.
I don't buy many gifts so it's quick. I had a candle I'll give someone next Christmas been in my cupboard I think two years now as I really like the smell and bought it to use myself but I haven't so I may as well gift it

The outnumbered Christmas special is disappointing so far. Plus please can they stop ringing the doorbell as my dog keeps barking!

Do any of you start saving small money from now until around Nov/early Dec the following year for your Xmas gifts?
I think I’m going to start, and also try to pick up presents (even if it’s just stocking fillers) throughout the year.

I've bought me paper.... but I absolutely DETEST wrapping. So I just leave it forever 🤣 id actually pay someone to do it
I learnt this year that there's actually a place in a shopping centre near to me that offers this service. You just hand everything over. Not sure how much it costs but I am so tempted because I hate wrapping.

I felt like a tit buying next years wrapping paper before wrapping this years stuff so the fact some of you have finished next years shopping/wrapped it scares and impresses me in equal measure 🤣

I’ve got myself a Christmas top ready for next year. In the sale from £50 to £25. 2 sizes smaller than what I am now, and with losing over 5 stone since April with a lot more to go it’ll hopefully be an achievable goal. Got it in the green rather than the red so I can wear it in autumn/for my birthday if I should be so lucky to need something sparkly 🤣

What date does everyone take their tree down? I usually do it 28th ish. I like the idea of NYE having the twinkly lights still up but also like the idea of going into the new year with fresh start etc with the room throughout cleaned. Not like I even do anything on nye to want the twinkly lights but it’s still part of the Xmas period isn’t it?

I don’t take my tree or decorations down until 6th January. Been up from roughly 6th November. I absolutely love them and wish they could stay up all year 🤣🤣

I think I win! Bought a Xmas present for Mr Lolz in the River Island online sale on Christmas Eve 😂 Let’s just hope he doesn’t put on or lose weight

How on earth have people bought next year’s presents already? How do you know what people will want a year in advance?

I can never decide when to take the decorations down. I don’t like doing it, and it always feels so bare without them, but I also don’t like leaving them up until after I’m back at work! I suspect I’ll end up doing it on 31st. I get superstitious about cleaning on NYD, so NYE gives me the opportunity to do a good clean afterwards.

I usually enjoy this period between Christmas and NY, but I’m already feeling a bit flat. We were due to go mattress shopping today but my husband is ill so I think that’s off, and we have tickets to a lights trail tomorrow, which I may end up going to alone. We dont spend the season with family, for various reasons, and I think I’m just feeling a bit nostalgic for a Hallmark Christmas this year, even though I’ve never had one (parents divorced when I was very young). All that said, I had a lovely afternoon yesterday, with both of my cats on my lap. One of my girls was very ill this year, and I’m just so, so grateful that she pulled through and is fighting fit.
