I only bought a jamaican patty which was OK and cost a fiver. I thought about some preserve but everything was so expensive. I understand they probably need to increase prices to make a profit but £38 for coffee and £6 for soap. No thanks

I’m a really bad person to buy for. I just like what I like and tend to buy it myself. However at Christmas and birthdays I always appreciate vouchers for M&S or Sainsbury’s because I love there. I just booked myself a spa day on spaseekers. It was £40, cream tea, 25min treatment and use of facilities. It was already on offer but the code BLACKFRIDAY24 took an extra 10% off. Might be a good thing to look at for an Xmas gift 
Right, I want a conclusive answer. Which supermarket sells the best mince pies? I am yet to taste the Waitrose ones, but hear they are rated highly. The only mince pies i have tried are Sainsbury's ones, Greggs ones, Morrison's ones. Are they all much of a muchness?
So Mr A & I take this very seriously. We read the Good Housekeeping article on the best mince pies. This year Aldi luxury ones came out tops. Usually its the Iceland ones. They test loads even the really expensive ones like Betty's.
Also on a side note, not sure where you are coming from but there were loads of cancelled trains and delayed ones. Due to flooding on tracks
You didn't get caught out with that balls at mid afternoon where all the trains were suddenly cancelled did you? I did.
Luckily no, but I did hear that Kingscross was evacuated at one point
M&s puff pastry ones!
I love Greggs. Booths are also amazing if you can ever get to a store.
My favourites are actually the Costco ones but I very rarely get them cos even can't eat a whole tray of the things.
The ones I buy the most are the basic M&S ones.
Watched Our Little Secret on Netflix, get's 10/10 for pure cheese. But it's a lovely little Xmas film
