My mum works for the NHS in her hospital no one can request the week between Xmas and new year off
She's the first cat I've ever had reject dreamies too! Catnip also does nothing for herHave you tried the Thrive chicken treats before? One of our moggies looks at Dreamies the same way (the first time I’ve ever had a cat reject them!) but she loves Thrive, they’re freeze dried chunks of chicken. On the pricier side but they’re supposed to be healthier too!
Our cats have a stocking and I tie lots of ribbons around their presents for them to play with. If I wrap anything with catnip inside they will ‘open’ their own presents too!![]()
Our ginger cat loves the practice golf balls too. Easy to pick up with their mouth and carry them. She's the first cat I've ever had reject dreamies too! Catnip also does nothing for her
Between myself and my boyfriend, I think we have bought every type of cat treat available the UK (most more than once just in case she changes her mind about them) but she just turns her nose up at all of it!
I don't do a stocking, but I'll wrap a few presents up under the tree for her of toys and her cat frubes as we call them lol. I just ordered her favourite balls from Amazon. They're called practice golf balls and just plastic balls covered in holes but she goes crazy for them!
I'm also very tempted to get her one of the Squishmallow pet beds. My nieces are all obsessed with Squishmallows and whenever they come over to ours and bring one of theirs, Luna will scout it out immediately and make biscuits and/or sleep on it until they leave and we have to physically remove her![]()

I'm so happy at the Christmas cat content on here nowI love that you call them cat frubes!
Oh my gosh, I saw the Squishmallow beds in Pets at Home the other day and was very tempted to buy one too! It sounds like your cat will love it, but knowing my cats they’ll use it a few times and then revert back to sleeping anywhere else but their expensive beds..
Maybe it’ll be different though as the material is so squishy and perfect for making biscuits!![]()
My mum brought my cat a fancy fluffy bed last year as he loves to lie on my dressing gowns but he refuses to sleep on it and always sleeps on his cat tower. He's getting a new tower this Christmas who wants to take bets that he'll now sleep on his bed after this.I love that you call them cat frubes!

I’ve booked a cat sitter as we’re staying at our parents’ for Christmas, it makes me sad to leave them but we’ll open their presents and have a mini Christmas altogether afterwards![]()
