happy friday and happy april!

i'm having such a nice day. the weather is quite stormy but i had such a nice tour this morning with another great group.

Spoiler: my favourite view but stormy

i met my best friend during the tour, she's also a tour guide and it just felt like good old pre covid times. then my favourite lady worked at this shop where i take guests after the tour. then after the tour i sat down at my usual spot for a coffee and the waiter just brought me my order without asking. the season is coming

i'm sat here with my coffee now, smoking and watching the rain outside. i could stay here for hours but at some point i have to go home and do some email work.

in the evening we're going to the final pub quiz of the tournament so you won't have to listen to me bang on about the pub quiz on fridays anymore they're also treating everyone to a pizza, yummy

Thank you for asking. I'm doing ok, just feel a bit like my confidence is bruised, which is a silly thing to say I think but it is just how I feel. I'm sure it doesn't surprise any of you that I am Queen Chatterbox here and love to talk all the time, but my rent-a-gob tendancies are gone.

The lady who did it has been told she will never work here again, regardless of what the safe guarding report finds.

Absolutely zero chance of snow where I am. I was outside in a t shirt enjoying the sunshine this afternoon.

Hope everyone else is ok and lots of love to those who need it. The sun is shining here which always helps my mood. I’m in the office today but on my own which is weird. Hopefully it goes quickly I’m meeting a friend for a walk in lunch and I’ve for a barre class after work so not all bad.

ohhh another uni student here, how are you handling online lectures etc im finding it hard tbh and i also have assignments i need to start working on , whenever i sit down to do them i dont have any progress anyway im kinda nosey. what are you studying if you dont mind me asking

I work full time and my course is part time via the Open Uni, so the lectures have been online for the duration of my course, so I have nothing else to compare it to tbh! I'm studying a Bachelor of Laws LLB, I'm in my 4th year of 6 (as I've done it part time, it would have been 3 if I did it full time)! What are you studying?

We are just playing cards before showers and bed for the kids and shower and pj's for me.
It's my last day in the house tomorrow where i will truly be on my own as my husband starts his new job on monday, which is a wfh job. I don't know how having him at home all the time is going to go. Might be time for me to up my hours at work

Have started reading a new book and think it will be really good. And we are getting take away pizza for lunch so it's not all a bad day.

Oh just because you all perked me up when things were going so wrong - Middle Jelly had been given the starring role in his new schools Easter play. His teacher called me to discuss that and extra rehearsals and only said positive things about him. I feel so bad that we kept him in the old school for so long when he was miserable when now he is thriving at the new one.

And @Boredofthegram parenting is the hardest thing, I have nothing but total admiration for anyone doing it alone or co-parenting. Hats off to you.

Hey guys. I was gardening and eating ice creams at the weekend. Today we have snow sleet earlier today but now it's snow. Like what the actual fuck is going on so as its my last solo day at home and the weather gods have spoken I'm treating myself to a long lazy bath and an afternoon of reading /napping/snacking before school pick up
