I was greeted by my son who announced 'morning mam I've had an accident' so that was fun. Quick shower for the boy and a bed change is the exact way i hoped to start mothers day

I've just made myself a coffee and sat at my desk to get some work done. 4000 words into be done in 3 days. I'll never learn

I used to be friends with a group of people who went for a curry on a Friday/Saturday night, had a big meal and loads of drinks, and then went out to a club. Who in their right mind can wear a nice little dress and dance after eating curry, poppadoms, samosas and half a dozen beers? It was madness

I work with a bunch of blokes so I’ll let you know at exactly what time they take the piss out of my top

@WilmaHun try not to feel too bad. You did everything you could! One thing I’ve learnt is people have to want to help themselves before anybody else can help! I’m glad she’s getting help though!

I have this overwhelming feeling that I want to go out and get smashed but that won’t make my life any better so going to try my very best not too!

Omg what a morninnng. Me and the baby are proper not well. It feels like glass when I swallow and I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus, he’s extremely whiney and moody, and refusing to eat so I’m just assuming he’s got the same sore throat as me. He’s just been crying for an hour. Had to lie with him naming every single Peppa Pig character till he eventually dozed off. I’m just gonna let him sleep for however long and hope he wakes up feeling better. I might have a lie down as well cos I feel rubbish wanted to go out this afternoon as well but looking like a lazy day for us… hope I’m better for my meal out tomorrow

Morning everyone! Hope you’re all having a good day. Not much to report here back from our family trip away which was a nice break but a bit stressful at times. No snow here but freezing. A working from home day today and I’ve for a reformer class tonight. I’m looking forward to the weekend so I can have a chilled one after being away.

I just randomly wondered whether they still make peppa pig so I googled it.. fell down a proper Peppa pig rabbit hole … apparently she is banned in China because she appropriates gang culture and I read a conspiracy theory that all the episodes are stories of the Pig families life until Daddy Pig stabbed them all bit dark for a Saturday morning

@ordinaryjelly you been a psychologist makes perfect sense I work closely with them in my job and in general they are such lovely people with good hearts.

Hey gang nothing much happening today. The son is a bit more poorly today (covid day 2) yesterday he was fine eating, playing, talking lots but his little voice this morning is all croaky and he's full of snot. Nice
It's also my double payday (messed up wages last week) so i might be buying us lots of treats
Anyway I'm still half asleep so going for coffee no2

Morning everyone!

Hope you’re all good I was so tired last night I fell asleep on the couch before 10. So feeling a bit more refreshed today. I’ve got a working from home day today so a slower start and I had a lie in until 7.

Not much else planned today I’m getting my nails done later on so that’s good I love nail day but I’m very boring and just have standard colours that I alternate between much to the dismay of my nail girl.

The weather looks like it’s going to be another nice day here so I’ll try and get out for a walk on lunch too.
