I went to mums and grandmas this morning to give them mothers day presents. Went for a walk with little one and chilled at home.

I bought myself some flowers for Mother’s Day as little bored is too small to sort things but he wants to bring me breakfast in bed tomorrow bless him - I’ve said I love cereal as I can’t quite trust him with the toaster and knives quite yet he’s made a card at school he wants to give me tomorrow too so that’s sweet.

Ordered nandos for tea (pitta and corn) and it was alright. Just feel like getting into bed now to be honest so might do just that!

Well, so far Mother’s Day has not been acklowdged here but I’m not surprised. Little peaches is too young to organise himself. I might treat myself to a box of chocolates or something cos I know I’m a fab mum or at least I try my best anyway

Little peaches did make me a card at school I don’t wanna show off or anything but it’s so artistic I think he might be the next big artist or something

I’ve had an alright day considering I’ve had toothache all day
Did my food shop but went early so I beat the rush cos nothing infuriates me more than a busy supermarket
Took the pup to see my mum and dad, stayed there for ages and mum kept bringing me snacks from her treat cupboard
Popped to see a friend this afternoon, her partner has gone away for a while so I took her some flowers and had a nice chat.
Me and mr Wilma just took Wilmapups on his first walkies. He loved it although it didn’t wear him out like we thought it would, he’s been doing laps of the house since we got home

Glad to hear you had a good trip @Libbylulu but most importantly we need to know.... what snacks did you buy when you were over here!

Lots of chocolate especially Twirl, Wispa, Crunchie, Ripple. Malteasers biscuit/ cake. Quavers, wotsits. Loads of cheese and tea bags. Malteasers Easter eggs, mini egg chocolate bars, Rocky biscuits….. other stuff too. My fridge is full of snacks.
And I was a virgin shopper at B&M & Home Bargains

Hi all. God i love sunny days

Woke up in a rotten mood this morning argued with everybody within minutes of getting up. The Mr sent me back to bed with a coffee. Chilled for a bit. Had a shower washed my hair and sat in the garden with a book. I thought once i started working i would be more productive on my days at home.... That is so not true
My husband is a much better house husband than i am housewife so I've been helpfully writing him a list of all the jobs i want done. He starts working from home soon so this is going to work out well

I'm making hot pork and gravy sarnies for mine and the kids tea then going to set up the swingball in the garden

Went for a dog walk at 7am so I'm already on 6,700 steps today and I've only just sat down at my desk! I did eat 2 bags of the giant prawn cocktail wotsits at the weekend so they need burning off

As for me, I have had a night from hell. I'll come back later and share more. I just think much of my issues are from being in hospital for such a long time and it is getting harder and harder to be OK with that and doesn't matter what I say or who I talk to nobody can wave a magic wand and wake my broken body up and send me home. No-one can do that so I'm like a stuck record mithering on and on. The sooner I reach some kind of acceptance the easier my days will become. But how do you accept this to begin with? Kind of a rhetorical question, I know there is no real answer.

the babies back we went in to get him and we were stood there for about 5 mins before he noticed we were there. I was made up cos he ran to me first the nursery woman said he was dead good, didn’t moan or cry once and played with all the other kids and was chatting away all day I’m so proud of him. Took him the entertainer to pick a present as a well done but he had a shit so we had to evacuate I’ll get it another day hahaha

Phew, I’m back home after a whirlwind trip. Weather was fantastic and I hardly stopped. I have 1 week quarantine now which is a pain (and lonely). My husband comes back next week and he doesn’t have to do quarantine because the rules change on April 1st. Bonkers!

@ordinaryjelly what happened is awful. I hope you are feeling better about it today.
