Morning all. Freezing here.
my little bro is coming over today to decorate my living room so I’m excited for that. I’ve got to work but i can supply cups of tea and lunch as he works.

I haven’t been knackered since Saturday. Came on yesterday too 5 days early so no chance now until next weekend.

Me and my bf always put innappropriate references when sending money to eachother (for example when he bought cat food for me I put the ref as eating pussy). When I was sorting my mortgage app and had to send some statements over I was mortified but no one mentioned it

nothing like eating tipsy 
i've been feeling so bad for the last week or so, and today i'm finally back to feeling like myself. i got so many things done, sent out the biggest emails for work, went through my to do list and transferred photos & videos from my phone onto the laptop/hd. i got some bonus money too, finished a translation i was doing and i have tours scheduled for both days this weekend. thinking of getting drunk this evening at the pub quiz to celebrate but my mum is going

@Hope96 it is lovely to see your name pop up commenting on here. It is fine to come herev and "Im crying because of my ex" everyday though, people don't have to comment if they don't want to.
@BelleAmie you aren't a broken record and so what if you are? People can scroll by if they don't want to read. Try not to think you weren't enough. Maybe you just weren't right for him but that doesn't mean your love, kindness, personality and so on isn't enough for somebody else. Sometimes people just aren't compatible with one another and it isn't because they weren't enough, it just wasn't right and that is ok. We can't love everyone or even be friends with everyone we meet. The right person will come into your life:; usually when you least expect it. Break ups are tough and it takes time to get over it. Be kind to yourself. You are right for someone.
@watermelon sugar congratulations to mr melon on his new job, will he still be a chef? How did mini melon get on at nursery? The sunnies are fab, your mil doesn't know what she is talking about.

Today is much better than the last few days. Thank heavens. I was taken outside earlier for a walk and all the flowers are popping up. They have really well maintained grounds here so it was lovely. Plus the sun was shining and it was just nice to be out there. .

Morning gang!
I went to bed at about 10 and I feel like a new woman! Those cupcakes look fab @fudgebox I could eat them for breakfast.
Im just getting ready for another day in the office. My bestie is in and I haven’t seen her in sooo long I’m so excited. I’ve put my new top on and I really liked it but now I’ve convinced myself it looks like pyjamas anyway I’m gonna convince somebody to buy me Starbucks when I get there and get away with doing as little as possible! Hope everybody has a good day

Ahh, you make me blush@ordinaryjelly that’s so lovely! I hope you have a nice day even though you aren’t seeing your kids. I hope you know you’re like the Mum of the thread with your wise words and advice. Even though you’d probs be dead young if you gave birth to methe more I’m typing the more this seems like a back handed compliment but I hope you get what I mean
I probably am old enough to be some of yours mum, but you know if my girls turn out to be such lovely humans as we have on this thread I'd be dead proud and feel like I had done an ok kind of parenting job.

last night I found out my ex has put his flat on the market, so he’s moving. Last night I was kinda numb but this morning I feel broken because he has (presumably) found someone he is serious with and moving in with and they’re going to do all the things together that I wanted us to do.
I was looking at the pictures thinking ‘that’s the room I lost my virginity in’, ‘that’s where we sat when we had our first fight’, ‘those are the sofas we arranged that way for movie night’ and I’m never going to go back there again and it’s sucks.
I am (evidently) finding it very hard to move on because after we broke up so many people were like “he’ll come back - they always come back” and I hung on to that hope for a long time but it turns out, they don’t always come back. And I have to accept that I’ll never see him again and he’s happy with someone else. So now I’m sitting here crying in the car park at work and I have to go in in a minute and try to keep it together.
Anyway, I’m sorry for yet another rant about this guy - my friends won’t let talk about him anymore and they say I need to move on, which it true, and I have nowhere else to spill all my feelings

@ordinaryjelly I am feeling a bit better today, thank you for asking. I am sorry you are feeling so down, I wish I had the words to help. Just know that you're not a stuck record, we are all here to listen to you and I just wish I could do something to help. You're strong, and like Watermelon says, an inspiration!

My Dad has taken my Mum away this week and he took the opportunity to speak to her last night about her health and to explain all of our worries about her. She really opened up to him but the extent of what she's been doing to mask the problem (rather than seeking and accepting actual medical intervention) is far worse than we thought. She is getting a bit of help now and I'm glad she's opened up but I just have this overwhelming feeling of guilt. Guilt that I didn't notice how bad things were. Guilt that she didn't feel she could talk to me. Guilt that I could have done more. I feel like a terrible person and daughter.

Thank you, you lovely lot. I am lucky to be surrounded by a wonderful team here who have done nothing but check in on me all day and gave me a lovely bath to help me distract and cheer up. This hospital is wonderful and one poor agency staff member doesn't detract from that.

I used to get transferred money from guys at work especially around Christmas time or just randomly. It’s not strictly legal at work but whatever. One of them always referenced the transfer ‘great BJ’ as a joke obvz. I’ve never told mr peaches that they gave me money.
Now Mr Peaches needs my bank statements for something or other i tuned out listening but I’ve just gone through them and the great BJ transfer is on there. WHAT DO I DO????

I think it's very easy for outsiders to judge and instantly say "well you shouldn't have remained friends with them" but life is never that black and white. When you have a relationship with someone on any level whether it be friends, partners, family etc, they do things wrong but because of the relationship you let things slide and you put up with stuff when people wrong you. It doesn't mean you're a mug, it just means you tried to be the best friend you could! Now you've realised perhaps they're not the best person to have in your life and you can start to distance yourself. You're not a mug though!

How are we all? I'm poorly at the moment with oral thrush and tonsillitis and a bad back. I've not got the energy to do any housework, it's taken me all of my strength to get up and plug a lamp in. It will be a quiet evening with wine and Tattle for me.

Aww bless you @watermelon sugar when I dropped mine off and they didn't care if I left someone once told me it is because they are secure in the knowledge that you will always come back for them, their attachment and confidence is a result of how you have raised him. So while it sucks it is kind of a back handed compliment on your parenting.
