Happy St Patrick’s day everyone ! I’m going to go get pissed

I can’t drink pink gin anymore I’ve got PTSD from drinking an entire bottle at home by myself when I was feeling sad and then I cried. Every time I smell it, it takes me back to how sad I was

I can’t drink tequila because I drank half a bottle to myself in half an hour and woke up like Barney Gumble in the middle of the sitting room

Morning all. My tooth isn’t as sore today thankfully
A day of work awaits me after school run and it’s really foggy here today but supposed to be lovely later so might get washing out on the line how exciting
For Red Nose Day mini bored has to dress as a superhero so he’s trying to decide which marvel hero he wants to be this morning.

@fudgebox he hates his crate he ended up just sleeping in a bed in the room with us because he would not stop crying once he got to sleep he slept about 10-4.30 though! X

Aw some dogs just don’t like a crate! If he really doesn’t like it maybe he will settle just in a dog bed downstairs? We only used a crate at the beginning because we were living in a small flat so didn’t want to leave puppy fudge loose incase she chewed anything but now we have a big kitchen if we had another puppy I would just leave them in there where there’s nothing to chew and tiled floor incase they had any accidents we don’t have puppy fudges crate at all anymore

Question - does everybody shower the second they wake up? Sometimes I lounge around in my pjs for an hour or two before I’m ready to shower and get ready and apparently I’m the only female mr peaches knows who does this? Almost like I’m disgusting

Only when I'm on my period otherwise I like to have a cuppa and a tattle before I shower.

It’s soo much easier said than done but try to relaaxxxxx! I am sure that it is all fine and they may just be respecting your boundaries etc

You can tell people what you want without actually telling them EG if you don’t want to text all day then you don’t have to reply if you’re busy. If someone texts me I will reply on my terms when I am ready. If you only want to see them every now and again you can say you have plans but you are free on X day.

You are the queen you are in charge . The worst thing you can do is change your expectations/wants/needs in a relationship for someone else

I’ve had a glass of wine and I’m feeling a lot of feelings tonight. For reasons I can’t explain, I started thinking about the way my ex used to look into my eyes before we kissed and now I’m feeling like because I don’t have that any more and I miss it. Life lesson; don’t drink and think.

Just think about all the reasons you broke up and how much better it’ll be with your next boyfriendddddd

@xx3221 oooer I usually shower after a bath on the rare occasion that I do have a bath. But I might try before now you’ve said it
All this hair washing talk is making me want to wash mine. You know when you know you’re gonna wake up and it’s gonna be proper greasy. That’s me but I’m going to the office on Tuesday and I want fresh hair so I’m washing it tomorrow night.

this is the first time in 31 years of life that I’ve really struggled with my MH. I know a lot has happened over the years so I’m not too surprised but I find it quite hard to admit because my sister has schizophrenia so I never want people to think there’s two ‘crazy’ ones but I literally can not go on living feeling dead inside so i think I will deffo call the GP tomorrow and see what they say. My bf has been less then kind about it over the years as well so that makes it harder to want to talk about it!

how do you guys deal with someone close to you who is engaging in self sabataging behaviour, particularly when it then affects other friends/family members around you? I have a family member who is making life very difficult for my mum and my grandparents and it’s really getting me down

@Libbylulu I’m so sorry that happened how awful I would be the same as you. As the others have said I would give it a little bit of time and call up and let her know how it made you feel and try and clear the air before you arrive. I hate horrible awkward situations and would worry if the air hadn’t been cleared before I arrived even though it wasn’t your fault.
Not much to report here I’ve been up and out from 7am this morning as I had my first reformer Pilates class i loved it but it was difficult and very different to my normal exercise. Then I had a hair appointment just back home now and ready for a nap. Mr Betty has gone to see his parents and I was going to go but I just couldn’t be bothered and fancied a few hours at home on my own.
He should be back about 4 as he’s got an optician appointment too then we’ll probably go and do the food shop as he’s at the football tomorrow.
Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday it’s such a nice day here almost spring like.
