I feel so lonely. Normally I’m okay with my own company but I’m struggling atm. Maybe it’s because I’m off work so normally being at work distracts me for 8 hours. Bf has been gone since 8am. I nipped out for 30 mins earlier, and my cousin and her kids popped in for an hour but now they’re gone I just feel really lost. Bf will come in, eat dinner then go out again. I just feel so alone like I’ve got nobody to talk to. When my cousin left I just sat and cried. I know I sound a right saddo, a 26 year old should not be this lonely, I should have a better social life but nobody ever makes the effort to arrange anything and it gets tiresome and I feel like a burden constantly being the one asking to do things. If people wanted to see me they would it makes me feel like there must be something wrong with me that nobody likes my company or something. Maybe I’m boring I dunno. Sorry for being miserable on the thread I just needed to get it out

aw hon, I can completely relate. You are a lovely person and it’s 100% not you. Some people are just quite self involved and they don’t realise that they’re not bothering with others. We are all here for you<3. I would totally bring you wax melts and eat brownies with you if we lived close

happy st patricks day! @BelleAmie i don't blame you, i'm far from irish but after living there for a few years, i also like to embrace the ''irish side of me'' also my bf and i met on paddys day 4 years ago (well, 1 or 2 days before paddys day but that was the purpose of his travels)

i like all fruit other than kiwi and generally i do like my fruit to be a specific texture, i don't like anything too soft or too sweet

I wish it had been corporate cringe! Somehow - and I really don’t know how - I started waffling about my fear of dying alone. And the other people were like

Oh my God it's okay, the CEO of the company I work for is a family friend so anything I try to do professionally is just cringe, so essentially my whole job. I was working late once and I called him at 10pm to ask a question whilst he was out in a pub instead of ringing my manager. He helped me and told me what I needed to know but he then rang my manager and said "Why is she ringing me? She should be ringing you" and I spent the whole night thinking he's actually right, wtf is wrong with me and why did I ring the CEO at 10pm on a Friday night... and then I thought he's prob over it now, so time to get over it too. But I was so cringed out

@Peaches_xox this exact thing happened to me last week, we had a big meeting and the follow up meeting is this Thursday. When they ask for my input I'm just like ummmm I literally just come here and get paid I'm not sure what you want me to say

@watermelon sugar I'm sorry to hear of your boyfriend's redundancy. Perhaps he could get a job in B & Q,, though he should be careful not to get thumped if he approaches someone and asks if they want flooring.

Sorry to hear about Mr Melon's job but hopefully after the initial shock he can start looking for work and I am sure he will find something even if it takes a bit longer. All you can try to do is support him and I hope things pick up @watermelon sugar.

@Libbylulu I'm sorry, that sounds shit. People say all kinds of mean things when they get defensive, and you have a right to feel what you feel about your brother, don't feel guilty about it. Let the whole thing settle for a bit and see if you can talk to your mum and let her know how she made you feel, maybe? Sending hugs x

I'm having a wildly productive day - not. Woke up nice and early, feeling better, had breakfast and then decided to lie down for a bit as I was getting tired again. 3 hour nap Just had lunch and now I feel like taking another nap, it's ridiculous. I'm drinking all the strong tea to clear my head a bit, then I'll try to watch a film.
