Her fiancé has just said he had covid symptoms a few days before Christmas and ultimately tested positive.
I cannot comprehend why Chessie went to see her family for Christmas then.
Not only breaking Tier 4 rules, but also the law when she should have been isolating at home as she lived with someone who had symptoms/tested positive.
She bleeping insane and selfish. What a privileged bleep

This is mental. I saw his post but hadn’t seen hers at Christmas, was she with Matt over this period too?

I had noticed she’s been unusually silent today...

doesn't this also mean she left him to be alone with Covid over Christmas while she had a jolly old time with the fam? I get that she wouldn't want to catch it being pregnant but seems highly unlikely that he would have coincidently not been with her when he was presympomatic and therefore also exposed her unless they had been apart for a week or whatever. Which they shouldn't have been given tier 4 etc. What a lovely fiancée she is!!

I might just be being mean but I actually find him so weird. Idk what it is about him? He seems really immature and like 'silly'. Their banter together seems so forced and I feel like most men would be embarrassed to act like that. I don't follow him so maybe i'm wrong but he doesn't seem like he has many guy friends.

Completely agree. When I read he’s doing a Masters in Psychology or Mental Health Practice I nearly fell over, he’d never be taken seriously in the field, no doubt will want to just write a book and attempt to live off that.

Totally agree. I know I occasionally mention bang on here about hating being single during a pandemic, but their dynamic makes my eyeballs itch and makes me happy to live alone. I’d be drained of all life if I had to spend five minutes in their oh so zany, madcap, cRaZy company. Can you imagine the volume levels alone?

for someone who has hearing loss she isn’t very accessible for her deaf followers and for someone who is apparent a big sister and best friend she has a knack of being self centrered and insensitive

And on a more serious note, totally agree. I cannot stand when people use their “insecurities” and “flaws” to seem relatable when it suits them and then switch them off and go back to cockiness when they get bored.

On 23rd they announced the pregnancy so were together at home a matter of days before Christmas and now he’s announcing that he had symptoms a few days before Christmas? She went to family for Christmas and then the sister moved house 2 days later. God knows how far they could have spread that virus.

They clearly did a lot at the time to keep their movement, and the fact he had Covid, hidden and under wraps from followers. I am a little shocked that he’s now revealed he had it around Christmas though, as it is very simple to piece everything together and know for fact that they significantly broke the rules. We know for certain that Chessie spent Christmas at her parents with her sister and brother, and even if she wasn’t experiencing symptoms was heavily likely to have been exposed to the virus via Mat and at risk of infecting others. It doesn’t bare to think about ...

London was put in to tier 4 as of Sunday 20th December so neither of them, sick or well, should have been going anywhere from that time forward. Full stop.

Oh I agree.. we’ve known for a while that they broke their tier 4 restrictions, as did her sister. My point was that we now know that they broke the rules on two counts: firstly travelling given the tier 4 restrictions and secondly not adhering to the strict isolation rules when one or both of them had symptoms and eventually tested positive. The latter which makes their rule break even more significant and severe, given that they more than likely infected others while travelling.

Absolutely! It's ridiculous especially given the severity of things in London. Anyone living here has known for quite some time that the new variant was starting to rip through. They have no thought for any but themselves.

So... I have had two covid tests and the results text is very different to the one Matthew Carter (Chessie's partner) has received back .... the wording is different, it starts with your name and date of birth and test date and also is in one big long text message.
The wording is not 'Your test has been confirmed as Covid positive'... the wording on the text is: 'Your coronavirus test result is...'

I find this suspicious .... !
