Nothing wrong in wanting the best education money can buy. I sent my kids to private school and I’m from the same council estate as Chelsea grew up in. Doing well in life is a good thing especially if you get yourself out of poverty like I did. Difference is I never forgot my roots and pretend to be somebody I’m not and never have been like she does. I hope she is sending them to private school for the right reasons

His seat hasn’t improved in the last year or so that he’s been riding. He’s clearly not a natural and Chelsea is desperate to make it something it isn’t.

Did Demir correct him on how to hold the reins ? Could only watch a few minutes before switching the vlog off. Was it filmed when Demir visited and jumped with Harlow? It looked quite late in the day, I did feel for popcorn he has a lovely fitted saddle (sponsored by Albion) but he has a giant fluffy half pad underneath which would affect the fitting but probably wearing it to absorb the concussion effect of the unbalanced rider
If Chelsea can afford to send them to private school, why wouldn't you. Also the right school isn't all about league tables. There will be families who want academic hot house schools, those who are more interested in sports facilities or drama, art. Those who want full in boarding, those who want flexi. There's a lot of families who can't or don't want to send to top boarding schools but would rather send to a good local private school where the child can still have a home life and they have less fees. I imagine they value a more local school so Harlow still has time for the horses, shows and vlogging.
I feel sorry for Harlen sometimes, it's obvious Harlow and her Mum are very close, doesn't appear they have much if any relationship with their Dad. Who does the "boys" stuff with Harlen. Seems like he's left at home a lot whilst they go off with the ponies. He probably only gets such enthusiastic praise when it comes to the riding. He doesn't seem interested and can't hold the reins. They are probably trying to keep him interested by jumping as he'd soon be bored working on the basics and wouldn't want to ride at all.

I think he stays with the grandparents when they head off to shows but realistically it’s nearly every weekend so he gets left behind a lot. I don’t think they have a relationship with the dad at all. He is some footballer and is married. I suppose he is too young to be brought along he would be bored stiff I’m sure.
He is a beginner i agree - but they literally have a riding school in their back garden now! So either get him taught properly or give up on the dream that he is ever going to be an equestrian. He's just not interested - he doesn't seem to have any affinity with ponies - always screeching and shouting near them. I'm sure he has his own interests - sadly Chelsea will have decided she can't generate content out them so has disregarded them.
I disagree about not having an affinity but he does need to listen to the professionals because riding comes with so many challenges not to forget mentioning safety he just has a different approach I think. I commend Chelsea for at least giving her children a safe, fulfilling and skilled outdoors life instead of being stuck indoors in front of screens or letting her children run around the streets like some parents allow their children to do. I disagree with many things that woman says and does but her children do seem happy and their are healthy which everybody wants for their children and wishes for others

The kids *seem* happy - time will tell. We see what we get shown. It’s Chelsea’s dream, and luckily Harlow fell in line with it. She monetises the hell out of those kids, always has done- remember Harlan’s baby supermodel career before the horses? Wonder how much time and energy she puts into Harlens football interests…which is also a healthy outdoorsy thing.

Holding the reins is one of the very first things you get taught, along with mounting up, stirrup length, checking girth tightness etc. it’s the absolute foundations - credit he is very young and might naturally want to pick them up a different way now and again but having him going over jumps without correcting it is absurd to me!

She seems to play favourites with the kids depending on who she can exploit the most. I first heard of them when Harlen was the most followed baby on the internet and was her perfect little model, and Harlow was just the older sister with less followers. Now Harlen isn't as willing to sit and model designer clothes so she's turned her attention to Harlow and has managed to gain a whole new set of followers who are interested in horses. Back when it was all about baby Harlen I don't even remember them mentioning horses much at all.
I wonder why they suddenly decided they dont need a junior pony for next year? I don’t believe that for one second. Either they have found out something is wrong with him as they never got him vetted or his temperament isn’t t what they thought it was. I only asked the other day in the equestrian thread where the new pony was as they hadn’t done one video of him since the first week they had him. Definitely something else going on there. If it was a case of having too many ponies they would have sold cloudy as Harlen is nearly outgrown and he is riding popcorn now. They have no need for a Shetland at this point.
Harlens father is an ex football player so it would’ve been nice if they used this common interest as something to bond over but sadly the father was just technically a rich sperm donor.
