Yup. She’s the only person who’s still wearing off/cold shoulder tops, camis, OTK boots. Her look is so dated. She tried on a brown dress in her latest video and I thought she looked like a giant poo. That dress was horrendous but quite a few YT viewers said they liked it Jesus ….. just because she buys a few expensive clothing items now and then doesn’t mean she knows how to pair them together.

With Amie, everything is at a superficial level. She's promoting the SALE, not Lunar New Year. You know she has a wishlist of the exact same blush bags, beige stilettos, and robe sweaters on every luxury retail site so she can link them whenever there's a promotion. Her Lunar New Year "edit" is the same as her Spring sale is the same as her Holiday Sale is the same as Black Friday, etc. Anything else would require deviating from her comfort zone, ie. using her brain.

I was just watching Elle Florence's handbag collection video (YouTube Link if interested). Watching her describe exactly why she loves each bag, how she cares for them to ensure they stay looking perfect and brand new is so refreshing!
You can completely tell her classic style, and near the start of the video she describes how she only owns one Chanel wallet on a chain because she bought one, uses it all the time and has just never felt the need to buy another - - Amie could never!

Elle is a vapid human being and scam artist. Please go spend time on her thread. There are much stronger YT’ers who give incredible luxury reviews: Emma Anderson, Jerusha Couture, Purseonfleek, Lexury95, etc. Her style isn’t classic, it’s granny chic at best.

There's another point I'd like to make. I've thought Amie to be some smart and wise investor. But 2 issues stick out that makes me doubt her decision making (besides the endless bags she buys). First, her house is awful as we all know (I think she'll have a hard time selling it - it has awful sloped ceilings and it's a new house!). Secondly, Amie did a youtube video on investment years ago and her investment advice is awful. She recommended a investment firm that was very basic and had horrible reviews online. Amie says she has her investment company invest her money and she doesn't pay much attention to it or something. I really don't think Amie is as smart as she tries to portray.

I don’t think Amie knows how to dress down. I’ve seen many women who dress casually without a drop of make up on, and still retain that air of elegance; their clothes don’t scream designer but they’re good quality and look classy. With Amie, you get the feeling that everything has to look picture perfect and IG ready, whoever called out earlier that IG isn’t the reality nailed it. Must be exhausting having to keep up appearances all the time. Even the thought of slapping on all that make up and getting her hair done just to film a vlog sounds exhausting. I thought she would have caught the bug like many of us, during lockdown, in terms of feeling more at ease in her own skin and wearing less make up but she’s not changed one bit. Appearances are very important to her.

She's British and lives in the UK, but she is am american wannabe. Why does she say all these American phrases and why does she keep giving prices in dollars?

My guess is most of her viewers are from the USA. She wants to cater to them. That's how she gets $. Plus she has relatives in the USA and she goes there often.

Okay, someone needs to explain the physics behind why she's always got toe cleavage no matter what shoe she's wearing! Is she just buying shoes with low vamps? Are the shoes too small? I would also think that maybe she has long toes, but that's not the case (she had that "shoe tips everyone should know" video where you saw her naked feet and her tiny, baby toes made me uncomfortable). What is going on?

Purse on Fleek has certainly become a hot topic on YouTube since her Hermes drama video; I honestly get second hand embarrassment just looking at her- a cautionary tale to all the faux influencers when faking a lifestyle turns into a money pit that they have to resort to scamming to keep their head above water

I don’t consider any of these girls fashionable or aspirational; they are so transparent in their desperation to emulate a tacky vision of affluence, posh upbringing (yeah right!), luxe living etc that ends up so far past the mark that it is embarrassing to look at (but entertaining to poke fun of!) Chase Amie is a disappointment as it seems she has the education and stable family support to be better than most of these wayward influencers and yet she has become a glorified infomercial sales lady peddling designer gear like it’s fast fashion from her cheap ikea showroom.

I think a lot of people have seen/see through Amie’s lies. She puts up numerous haul videos and claims to love so many items but i’m pretty sure she sends at least 90% of it back as we don’t see them ever again. Remember some of these outfits - see below? She’s probably done the same with her N sale items as well. She’s not one to spend on knitwear - she’s admitted it herself - but she was showing off Vince jumpers which aren’t cheap. She claimed to have ordered stuff from the 4th July sales but we’ve yet to see anything from that order aside from Dan’s sweatshirt. I don’t think she intends to order or keep anything for herself, 90% of the time, whenever she professes to buy something, but hopes that her followers get caught up with the excitement of a sale and follow her cue and order. That’s clickbaiting isn’t it? It’s downright dishonest to entice others to buy an item when the review is based on a blatant lie, and all this to ensure she stays relevant given her styling shortcomings. Someone called Amie a scammer a while back, I am beginning to see their point.

Haven’t watched her in a while so I thought I’d give the Christmas vlog a go 🥱. But wow I was so surprised at Amies brother, I always got the impression from the way she’s spoke in the past that he was very smartly dressed and well spoken. There was more personality in him from the little clips then there is in all of amies videos put together. That vlog confirmed to me that amie is Fake! Also the pretending to talk to her niece and not look at the camera hilarious!

Well - she’s had her fill of dining at better restaurants in the last two weeks (though she was probably dressed like she was attending a black tie event ) so will be on bread and butter for the next few months to afford her next lot of fugly handbags and uninspiring clothes. BF isn’t coming for three moments so she needs content to keep herself ‘relevant’.
She’s so not cultured, isn’t well read and completely uninterested in history/art so it’s no wonder she is only capable of shopping. Dense, shallow, lazy with a super limited vocab - these are the few things that spring to mind when I think of how to describe Amie and I’m being kind !! Definitely someone I’d tell my nieces to NOT aspire to as Amie’s the traditional stereotype of women that the rest of us do NOT want to be associated with.

Her content is so dull and boring and repetitive, there is no way that her OG subscribers are ACTUALLY still watching this drivel.

Its astonishing to me because she comes across as painfully bland. There are non-luxury YTers I periodically watch and their online persona are a combination of fun/funny, insightful, passionate, logical, etc. 🥸

She’s definitely cash strapped. I don’t think the AD links help to boost sales, to be honest, as she’s flogging the same shit as before. She’s past her sell-by date so retailers should just forget about her and move on. Many of us are onto our 3rd lockdown at least and have all the WFH gear sorted. Who’s actually shopping anymore esp now that Christmas is over??
She’s also running a Chanel giveaway now, no doubt trying to up her follower count. Should have spent the £400 on the house if she’s tight for money

It feels like she’s done a lot of Chanel giveaways for subs, yet there’s been very little growth.
Their move out of London to a bigger home makes me wonder if she’s planning a pregnancy soon to tap into that market?

Travel is an experience that constantly test your comfort zone and challenges your beliefs and examine your actions. While she is entrepreneurial and seems to be quite hardworking, I don't think she is the type of person who is open to new experiences. Dan is probably not that adventurous either and I think they prefer to work on their businesses than doing anything else.

Travel doesn't have to be adventurous (TBH travelling to say South of France or Switzerland or anywhere in Western Europe isn't that adventurous if you're from the UK). Heck even Australia or New Zealand or Canada isn't that different or a culture shock if you're from the UK. I know a lot of British expats in these countries and they got along fine without culture shock. Nobody is pinning for home or UK. I'm not talking about going to Thailand or Bhutan anything.

I don't even live to any where close but I take weekend trips away to nearby cities and parks here in North America, which is very beautiful. It helps me unwind and I love being outdoors. I don't like long distance flights or jet lag.

I'm not judging by how Amie lives or spends her money. That's her business. But I don't think her lifestyle is comfortable or sustainable in the long term. Most youtube gurus leave the industry after a while - this goes for more successful you tubers than Amie. Amie's get rich quick schemes grate on me for some reason - she's selling the idea that it's easy to make money without a hard day's labour and that it's normal for 30 year olds to have 100+ luxury handbags.

Is she trying to prove that she has a life with these stories?

Yup. Her stories appear desperate now given how much she’s posting. I think we can all agree that she reads Tattle and it bugs her that people think she can’t afford holidays and eating out! However one trip and a few meals alone proves nothing. She doesn’t get that it’s the whole package that gives her away ie the no going out normally when everyone else has been out since April 12, her scrimping on furnishings for the house but buying luxe stuff for herself (when are you getting doors for the toilet Amie??), taking pictures of her bag at the supermarket and vaccine centre.
Amie - when are you doing another video on sustainability? Maybe get someone to explain what it means first ??
