How the hell is she “out of bread” when she buys a bakery every week with the food shop?!

I haven’t watched her latest video but I gut the impression that she likes her kitchen cupboard to be fit to bursting. It must cost a fortune though, I went to Tesco tonight and spent nearly £40 on some basics for the next few days just bits like cheese, milk, bread and fruit/veg, nothing fancy and no meat etc.
I am really surprised she doesn’t buy her shopping from the local butcher/greengrocer/bakery etc. I can imagine her filming herself in her flowy dress with a wicker shopping basket over her arm floating around the greengrocer. She would then bang on about how her grandma and mum shopped in the same places and she remembers going as a child,

I remember the other day on her list she had “light candles” 😂
Honestly shit like this boils my piss. I’m working so many hours in layers of PPE at the moment, and she’s floating around ticking ‘light candles’ off her work list. I absolutely despair.

First time I’m commenting, I read the entire thread first and it made for uncomfortable reading because honestly so much of Charlotte’s life is like mine-
Bigger than I have ever been, constantly trying to lose weight but mad about food and unhealthy stuff, trying to exercise more, kids a similar age who are very fussy eaters so make seperate meals a lot, they’re partial to too many sweets and sometimes I rely on it too much. I don’t have many friends who live nearby, I’m prone to a bit of sentimentality, Found lockdown hard but have actually had it so much easier than most…the list goes on…reading people’s comments here has been a bit sobering

HOWEVER

actually one main distinction is that my life and my kids’ life is not filmed every second of the day nor am I a random influencer who is #instafamous and pretends to have a proper job. I work full time only influence my mum on her shopping and have a private profile with maybe 200 followers.

I guess therein lies the crunch- it’s not so much what she is/how she acts but the fact that she broadcasts her boring ass ordinary life and monetises it to make money off her sheeple while pretending to be something she is not (I’m a very similar body shape at the moment and firmly a size 16/18- I dream of whispering into a size 14 again)

all these mommy blogger influencer types are the same- selling a lie, firstly and mainly to themselves.

I’m starting to get genuinely concerned that she’s not addressing Stan’s wrists. He also appears to be quite bow-legged. Sticklers Syndrome is hard to diagnose and is often diagnosed later in life, not just at birth. I really wish she’d crawl out of her denial bucket and get the poor lad some help. As he’s getting older it’s getting more and more clear that something isn’t right.

I watched the latest food haul and notice Charlotte made a point of saying that she managed to get a delivery slot. 100% she has still been getting her shopping delivered this whole time but didn’t want to say because it had been discussed on here that she should save that shopping slot for those who are vulnerable or isolating.
if she had actually been out to Tesco there would’ve been a story of her in the car telling us she has to go do the food shopping, a shot of her pushing the trolley with the sleeves of her favourite jumper pulled over her knuckles and the camera would’ve been placed on the shelf so she can film herself walking past with said trolley. It’s so obvious she hasn’t been going in to Tesco for the past few months 🤥🤦🏽‍♀️

I do quite like Charlotte and I enjoy her videos, they are an easy watch for me/something to have on in the background.
However, there are a few things that grate on me,which I’m sure have been more than covered in these threads!

-saying she is ‘due on’ when talking about her periods. Or just talking about periods in general. I’m not a prude but I’m not interested in other peoples menstrual cycles thanks very much
-calling a coffee a brew. I always thought she drank tea til she clarified that when she says brew she means coffee. Call it a bloody coffee then.
-on some of her last vlogs she has put mum/mom in the title, obviously to try and get the American market but I hate when you tubers do that.
-saying mama and dada when referring to her and mark. My two year old says mama and dada when she is talking about what my 9month old calls us(baby is just babbling she isn’t really saying that). Why would you encourage the use of mama and dada with kids her age?
-I hate that she doesn’t give totals for her grocery shops anymore. I’m fairly sure she used to-I get why she doesn’t,because she probably spends a fortune but I would like to know.

Side note-but I’m nearly sure in a recent vlog she was packing nappies for Stan for nursery. Is that ok in England? I’m in Northern Ireland and my daughter is due to start a playgroup in January 2022 at 2years 10 months but she needs to be potty trained so I am panicking she will lose her spot because she is nowhere near ready for potty training at the minute whereas Stan is older and seems to still wear nappies to nursery? Maybe I picked that up wrong.
A lot of preschools want children to be dry in the day from 3yo, and push it, but it’s completely natural for children not to be ready until 4 (and with special needs, often older). They’re not allowed to refuse a child who is still in nappies, but a lot of people don’t know this so attempt to potty train too early. (I’m not sure how that is in NI, but I’d hope chjilfren’s rights are protected, so it’s worth looking into).
Nurseries are generally a lot better with kids who aren’t ready until later on.

I want to iterate that potty training earlier doesn’t have any standing on a child’s mental development. It seems a lot of people (not just on here) think that any child who isn’t potty trained by 18 months is “slow” or has a problem. Most healthy children will be dry by school. Night time dryness can be even later - they don’t start doing tests (in my area) until children are 9/10 as it’s mostly hormone related. I don’t want any parent who is struggling to think they’re failing. Waiting until the child is ready and going at their own pace is far more important for their development than bowing to pressure to have them dry too early.

New drinking game. Take a shot every time Charl says she’s proud of herself.

Oh please! Stop with the bloody guilt nonsense. You're a SAHM. You do not have to drop kids off at childcare, you are there to drop them off and pick them up from school every day. Your partner works from home FFS! And YOU'RE THERE WITH THEM DURING EVERY SCHOOL HOLIDAY.
And no-one, I repeat no-one needs to know your period is due.

Well she’s taken over another well know platform today on insta and has just confirmed that Stan does not have sticklers. I think she’s in denial, and if he hasn’t got it there’s definitely something going on with his wrists that she needs to get it looked at.
She’s full of shit.

Maybe Stan was checked at birth but frankly he needs to be looked at NOW by a specialist because there’s something very clearly wrong with him. He has a very obvious deformity of his wrists - he cannot straighten his wrists out and his hands are both turned inwards. It’s right there for everyone to see. Couple that with the fact that his hands are disproportionately large compared to the rest of his body, and his obvious facial features that look exactly like Sticklers and are more pronounced that Daisy....

She’s talking out her arse.

Proud that your kid got free sweets? Okay then. Or proud that they gave someone a flower? I feel like our Charlotte is the kind of lady that thinks everyone deserves a prize on sports day!

I’m also pretty disgusted at the blatant lies that she is telling with those pictures vs the videos she posts. That’s not just picking your best side or whatnot, that’s straight up deceit.

I’m probably about the size Charlotte is (the size she shows in her vids) and would love to see more people like that. Nothing wrong with being that size, it’s the lies.

As if Mark is into football….!
Not to defend Sharky too much, but she’s mentioned a few times that he’s a Preston North End fan and he’s been at the match quite often in her weekend vlogs over the years…. so I would say he’s definitely a football fan.

Charlotte though definitely is not, but she’s an expert band wagon jumper!
